Found it again, so far a great place to go when low on Tricorn Hats and Harpoons.

You might be on the other pirate ship, west of the shipwreck. Ghost Ship is currently NE of Derby. I just fought the crew for the first time- man, that Captain was a huge pain.

I tend to stay close to rivers- refilling bottles is more satisfying than searching healing huts. My favorite spot away from water is the far N.E. grasslands- rhinos and silverbacks, plus turtles off the coast.
