 I have a spot mapped on the W side of the N/W shoreline I usually see a warship parked. On the flipside I did just see the ghost ship on the E side of the S/W corner of the coast. Not far from Derby shores. Dang crewmember attacked me!

  I have run across quite a few geocashes around.  Most I leave alone. Sometimes I get curious. Mostly when I dig I find they are empty. I figure they have been plundered by pirates that refuse to learn how to read.

Heh..   It wasn't till after I posted looking for information on this spot that I ran across a signpost nearby.
 
Stuck in the ground is a makeshift sign. It reads “Battle of the Pirates Graveyard Geocache: Victory of the Imperial Raktami Army 26 Aug '07”.
 
  That implies the backstory is bigger than I thought.

 I am also enjoying the history here. Thank you.  I came across a place in the jungle west of Racktam that I've always been curious about. The tiles description reads; Plenty of large bushes fill the area and some tall grasses are growing in the gaps. You see a tall mound of moss-covered skulls and rusting cutlasses. Decayed and rotting leather together with bleached human bones are scattered around the area.
 
   I have searched here and found it a treasure trove of odd things. No swords or clubs discovered yet but quite a few other items have been pulled out of this spot.

Dam Frawd here.  I am a relative newcomer to the game. Been playing for only 2 years now.  I was also a voracious reader of the old forum posts. Trying to glean secrets from past interactions. Those posts were a goldmine. (I still haven't found where to discover a tennis-ball other than from a vendor heh.) I'm not good at role-playing but I do quite enjoy bumping into people that do.  I have a couple of alts. I admit I was tempted to do the character disclosure,  but when that started I was was in a scenario with one of my alts that my opponent would have dragged them all into.  My chars are all separate in my head and do things because that's what they would do. They don't really have a reason to all turn and point to the guy behind the curtain. In an odd way, I once had another kill a Yorker as they sideways claimed revenge for one of my alts death. That's what I like about playing with people. Things go sideways in such odd and yet fun ways.
