... so you can see where all of your characters are, on one map.

Partly fun, partly to assist in keeping them out of the way of each other.

Several options here, locating characters on the map is easy enough but the background...

1. include a consolidated view of the map as well including visited locations from all your characters (or perhaps just active ones)
2. merely indicate the locations of your other characters using the map from your currently active character
3. include a basic outline of the island but nothing else
4. use a completed map but only show the 8 squares around each character so as not to give too much away

I think number 2 would suffice

Billfred - Elephant Hunter - active
Bluebeards Leg - Trader - inactive
Getsome Food - York Patriot - inactive
Hexoatl - Healer and Exorcist - inactive
pirate eater - PK'er - active

Billfred (me) - troll, bad flamer, and tired.

I have, atm, 6 active chars. While I sometimes find it difficult to keep them separate, I always have a pretty good idea where they are, and the chances of them randomly meeting each other are extremely unlikely. I'm given to understand that most players, even ones who've been around longer than me, don't have as many to worry about.

Maybe you should just start using GPS, FAD.
