Wouldn't it be interesting if the ghost ship and Dave's ships all moved about, and traders sold special compasses like the treasure maps that you could use to get a fix on their positions [not one in particular, just 'the ship is a great distance west'].

Didn't know where else to put this.

Split it into it's own topic Also, the ghost ship does move around - or did last time I checked. The code to do that was a nightmare so if I can avoid making another one move around, that would be good

Simon - I think the idea was to repark them so as to make them more accessible as resources spots. Putting the pirate rescue ship way out past the wreck makes sense in terms of it being a destination, but less sense in terms of resources to travellers. Intuitively I'd say most of the travel happens along the south coast. Travellers need to cross the southern river at some point, so a resource spot (a moved as opposed to moving ship) there would be good.

Still think there needs to be something to tell you where the ghost ship is.  The fact that it moves about and knocks you off is horrible.
