I was wandering the jungles just north of Wiksik and came across a Hungry Python. I was curious so I gave it a poke. It had a little over 260 hps!! So not being all that flush with AP I did the sensible thing, I ran away. Well... I tried to run away that is. The scaly sucker had glommed onto me like a beard on a dwarf! After a good try to escape in every direction I decided to go down swinging.  I even used up my stock of fungi juice in order to trim it down some.  I think its at 230ish hp now.. He not only was hard to hit all the sudden, but he hit back for 14 hp a pop! As soon as I restock on med kits I am gonna track him down again and give him another thrashing!

Heh. I have no character in the area to lend assistance. Good luck with your friend Mister Phallic Symbol.

By you dying to him, you have made him stronger.

There is two more upgrades to this foulest of beast.  Deadly python, and man eating.  The man eating ones hit for 20 something a pop I believe.

And everytime someone dies to it, they regain some health, and become even stronger.

If you leave your cords,  I could send a message out to Team Tathers members in the area to go help.  They usually like to take on a vicious beast.

I knew that dieing to him would only make him stronger. He wouldn't let me get away!  I wasn't prepared for that battle. The next time I will be better prepared.  I wouldn't turn down any help though. I had my GPS off so no choords to share. Blergh~

Failing to move away from it isn't a certainty. Sometimes if you get lucky, you can wriggle free of its grasp by simply trying to move repeatedly.
Can't promise it'll still be there, but try around [-70.237,+26.414]
(down to 179HP)

Are you all looking for this Man Eating Python?
I came by with medical supplies for the embattled, but have become embroiled.
It appears to have taken a liking to me, to the point it's being rather clingy.

Lacking GPS, it is just off the cleared road leading north out of Wiksik right now.

(2017-05-05 12:57) You attack the man-eating python and miss.
(2017-05-05 12:57) You attack the man-eating python with a pike for 2 damage. It drops to 205 HP.
(2017-05-05 12:57) A man-eating python crushes you for 20 damage.

(2017-05-06 18:02) You attack the man-eating python with a machete for 3 damage. You gain 3 XP. It drops to 196 HP.

It's still quite close to Wiksik.

Pretty sure it's gone. Haven't seen a snake or squid since then.

OTOH, there's plenty of hungry alligator's over at Terak's Spit now. I died there a whole bunch of times before I figured out how to harvest yeastweed properly.

I saw a giant squid right next to the shipwreck yesterday. I am going to restock and try to kill it. All are welcome to join me.
