I was thinking about this as a remedy to the drop off in PC combatants.

Say there are twenty roaming "masters" or "ancient gods" who are natives - "The Fearsome Lolz", "Rotflmao the Undead", or whatever.

Each one has 300HP.

Each one is armed with some sort of unique weapon - "The Jaguar Blade", "Spear of the Ancestors", or "The Puma's Eye" or something. They roam around the island like the roaming shamans / trader. If you encounter them, they'll chop you up or zorch you or whatever.

So, they're basically like pythons or Captain Briggs, but characterised as combatant "players", and very tough ones, and because they roam it is hard to find them all.

Kill all twenty and get a badge.

Sort of like Pokémon Go but for Shartak. Easily implemented as they consist of existing game elements....?

It would give something for Team Tathers to do.

I would suggest 100 HP, not 300.

Its a good point. Cannibals can get up to, what, 105HP? Should be harder to beat than a cannibal.

YEAH SCOUTS!

Trawling. Scouts and explorers alone can find extra stuff in the water.
I think trawling is appropriate because the classes feel like being in a pool of sadness.
