New people everyday.

Team Tathers is taking advantage and inviting a lot of new members.

Except for Raffles, we have standards.

After being poisoned by Raffles, Neil used steroids to restock in Raktam, get back to the swamp, and make some more kills.

Just follow the oily trail of pec oil.  He's not afraid of any gators.  Sitting in the middle of the swamp like he is.

Had to swim to the east side of the swamp to find more alligators. We've created a vast safe space for frogs, I think. I hope they're nicer than the gators. Frogs are creepy.

"You are Raffles, an outsider from Raktam. You are bleeding.
HP: 1 / 85"

"Swamp

Rather wet and muddy looking swamp. It's going to be tricky working your way through, but it looks passable with care."

Oh dear, this isn't going to end happily for me.

The swamp seems a bit thin on gators now. I assume they are re-spawning in another swamp?

I never thought I'd see that swamp totally out of gators. If we have a badge to get, we can accomplish anything.

How long is the hunt on for? Victor's in Derby restocking (by which I mean he died). If we're going thru the week, I'd have time to get back to the swamp. Or can we hunt at different swamps? Or am I out because I died?

Basically I have a lot of questions I should have asked before we started but I didn't.

In Dave's first post 't spake th' contest be runnin' from Fridee th' 13th (oooo scairdy) t' th' 31th o' May. Sadly, I were ruthlessly smitin' aft th' native gobblers well before th' 13th.    When I ortin' ta o' ben gatherin' up alligator killin' necessaries! Bilge Water! I didna be seein' nothin' in th' post about which swamp we be t' use. I were in th' gator depleted skull swamp but be in th' process o' takin' me bidness elsewhere! But a long an' arduous journey 'tis. An' wi' me recoverin' from fungi poisonin' th' tides be against Ter'ible Ed layin' his mitts on them fiddy gems (or an' gator slayin' trident??) me fears.

Hunt finishes 31 May.

I am a bit blown away that the Crab Claw Swamp is empty of alligators, too.

I had kind of intended that the hunt would only take place at that swamp, but if there are gators elsewhere, have at them. I assume that the gators killed have manifested elsewhere and in numbers, so perhaps the York swamp or the Derby Swamp is presently suffering from a superabundance of them.

Death is no barrier to ongoing alligator murdering. In fact I am a bit surprised more players didn't die.

Edit: There are about ten alligators on the western side of the swamp.

There are dozens and dozens of alligators now in the lakes north-west of York. Could be a good strategic move if anyone can manage it to go there and pick up numbers from multiple targets before the siren sounds.

Aw man, I was hiding that little gem from all. Why slowly creep around looking for swamp gators when you can just wade around and chop up lake gators. Should have thought of it at the beginning.
