What's the start time? As soon as server time ticks over to Friday (00:00 GMT Friday 13th)?

Also worth checking if pickings seem a bit thin up at crab claw swamp, are contestants allowed to run to one of the other swamps in the hope that other gators have spawned there?

I'll see if we can get some bonus AP added tonight ready for the start...

I think we are good to start. I have the croc kills from people in the locality:

Dam Frawd 6
Victor 72
Blanca 3
Burt 70
Man Who Sold Death 10
Shadowjack 3
Sweedee 15
Ed Ricketts 45
Neil 258
Bessie Mauler 5
Drift 7

Couldn't find any others in the field...

Raffles, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to notice....

Daves, I would suggest you let Simon keep track of the gator kills.  It's much easier that way.

It also would be exciting to see the man eating gators again, like they were from my competition.  Those were nasty.

If a chap were to mistake a fellow contestant for a six foot amphibious reptile, would there be some form of crass and entirely unjustified penalty?

Raffles, ye're th' only seafarin' hearty what might get mistook fer a six foot amphibious reptile! Ye refugee from Buckaroo Banzai!

It seems to be going well. Tonto has churned through 20 healing herbs assisting the injured, already!

Done

The alligators have noticeably thinned out. Trying to create a hungry one in the middle of the swamp.

Anaru Kamora is in the contest, just at a different swamp.  The others one are probably doing that too.

As for your point total, you never thought to get down special kills did you?  I bagged a hungry one last week.

Which is why Simon would be a better choice for tracking score.  Trust me, as someone who does this a lot, his way always works out the best.

I'm gonna second the pecs, here. The stats page sometimes handles specials in a strange and inconsistent way (it certainly does for squid).

Hrmmm.. I note in a post earlier you have Hemingway reporting Terrible Ed with 45 to start, along with Burt at 70. That would put Burt in the lead with 20 kills and Ed a close second with 18. At this pace I am wayyyy behind.

Simon and I talked about special kills (in this thread?) and decided it would be easier to score as a point a kill.

Simon can have the last say on the score: as I said, based on incomplete information, that's what we have so far.

We also have two new players in the field, which is a bit curious. I assume they are bringing supplies.
