The Imperial Raktam Army is in control of the entire York peninsula. Serpens the Snakeromancer is Protector of York. Edward McGill has been instrumental in enforcing martial law.

That is all.

You might want to get him a map. He's quite a way from York.

Eh. Discipline...

2014-10-02

(2014-10-02 05:46) Edward McGill approaches the growing army to speak with the queen.
(2014-10-02 05:47) Edward McGill says “Well I am 'ere. If the gold be good, I be willin' ta stick around and keep my foot on the throat o' York.” with a slight accent.
(2014-10-02 06:08) Edward McGill sits upon his stump and reloads his many pistols.
(2014-10-02 06:14) Edward McGill runs out of bullets, so he tucks the loaded ones at the easiest to reach places. "I think I 'ave too many hog slayers." He says with a wolfish grin.

(2014-10-02 12:05) Blue Hummingbird passes a sack of gold coins to Edward McGill.
(2014-10-02 12:07) You say “You've done your job, and done it well, Captain. York is a protectorate of the Empire in all but name. Much credit for that rests with you.” in the outsider language.
(2014-10-02 12:08) You say “Should you continue your task, you will be paid as agreed, with thanks.” in the outsider language.

(2014-10-02 12:11) You say “North, Miss Proctor...” in the outsider language.
(2014-10-02 12:11) Fashioning a rough sign out of a couple of pieces of driftwood, you stick it into the ground and carve Those who would have offended us if they had the opportunity. onto it.
(2014-10-02 12:11) You then proceed to add 3 skulls to the signpost. You gain 3 XP.

(2014-10-02 13:15) Edward McGill eagerly accepts the gold. "It be my favorite color." He says before tucking it away. You're slightly amazed at how he seems to have a place for so many things.
(2014-10-02 13:16) Edward McGill says “Well yer majestay, I would be a fool to not continue makin' such coin. ” with a slight accent.
(2014-10-02 13:18) Edward McGill looks around from his stump at the signs in the distance. At first he is unsure of what he sees but when he realizes they are adorned with skulls his eyes widen just a bit.

(2014-10-02 15:25) azuma says “Hmmm...I wonder how much shiny Ed got for sending me to the spirit world a few days ago.”
(2014-10-02 18:34) Edward McGill says “I got none. Did it for fun mate.” with a slight accent.
(2014-10-02 18:35) Edward McGill says “Ya know how the bad blood goes 'tween gentlemen on my nature and ya Dalpokis.” with a slight accent.
(2014-10-02 23:22) You say “Ah gentlemen. Please let there be peace in our ranks.”

You're boasting about that?  I wouldn't.  It's like saying you conquered the city dump.  Why would you want it?

All houses should come with sanitation. We should not turn our noses up at necessity.

Besides, the people of York have come to accept benign tyrannic assimmilation without fuss. (The Colonial Police must be rolling in their respective graves.)

Well, I think they have. There has been no opposition to this and the assimilation has been serene. Much more peaceful than those recalcitrant ingrates in Sofaram (Durham).

Grinds-Your-Bones has named the swamp "Swamp of Blades" and the river is now the "Crimson River" after the historical Crimson Dynasty (Queen MonaLiza and King Baraka) of the now defunct Royal Court of Greater Raktam. All natives and peaceable outsiders are welcome in the Swamp of Blades to fish for heavy swords.
