Just a tiny bit of trivial fun, and of course me being a . Maybe in the future I'll do one that has better symmetry. In any case it's probably a lens to my mind.

I'll link the key if need be. I don't consider myself particularly erudite, so it should be coherent for anyone who's been around the internet.

Oops, my bad. I guess I really should made it more cross referenced to enhance educated guesswork.

I thought I added a tag that a heavy sword was the reward, but now I'm rescinding that offer because I forgot it's on a secret character. So, me derp again.

18 across is actually BUDAI, but that's a neat coincidence.
23 down is TEAM, and 23 across is TERA; I am ashamed to say I find the Elin race adorably desirable, and that is one of the many reasons I deserve to be disciplined.

25 across is a longest one so I'll free it up, it's SACRIFICEFLY.
17 across is GINGER, also a term applied to creepy men who are terrible with women.

Trawling. Scouts and explorers alone can find extra stuff in the water.
I think trawling is appropriate because the classes feel like being in a pool of sadness.

Rezzed cuz I can. This may surprise you, but I'm really self involved. And turns out this crossword wasn't a lense to my mind. I forgot some of the answers because I suck, and some of the entries were just one-off interests that seemed a good idea at the time. Sieve of the Danaides...

I only get average solve times for crosswords, even after that Rosicrucian mind transformation thing I underwent. I hate being dumb! It's like that movie where a cop spends his pitiable days making meh-quality artwork, after becoming paraplegic. And according to some messages I got, some people think I'm cocksure confident, but really, nobody turns out that way. Dis-papoint-piment!

But really, enjoy life.

ACROSS:
1 asymmetrical
4 lame (lame duck - (n.) an ineffectual or unsuccessful person or thing.)
6 stands|still [had to google]
8 Neruda
11 gypsies (the Romani people are originally from or around modern Punjab (NW India, hence Aryan), probably forced out by a military conflict.)
14 balaclava
17 ginger
18 budai
19 Island (by Thomas Perry, I could compare its scope to Tolkien)
21 cpp (C++; Islam's core elements are the most dynamic of the abrahamic religions)
22 "Because it's easy" -- Warhol, being ludicrously honest
23 Tera
24 Kee (a fake competitor, run by Bushnell's neighbor, to inflate Atari's early business)
25 sacrifice|fly
26 ?

DOWN:
2 totoro
3 wordcloud
5 Milgram (most people are willing to kill others, if authorities muddle their conscience)
7 idiosyncrasy
9 Austria [googled]
10 Iadon [googled]
12 ESE (112.5 degrees from N)
13 ?
15 Cardigan
16 ?
20 Lenica [googled]
23 Team

If anyone here really gets into crosswords, do one better than mine, and that would be enough.
