Talking about York..every time I am in York The Hierophant is either dead or about to be killed...is it because York is so empty?

Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend.

It's because he's a poor orphan boy. With bruised cheeks.

I'd rather burn York to the ground and dump its ashes in the East Sea then let a pirate call himself a hero.

Challenge.

It's because mine enemies think they need 10 to kill 1.

You attack Tsuchinoko with a wooden club for 3 damage. You gain 3 XP. They die. You gain 38 XP.
Underworld log successful .
Deadzone log successful .
You carve pieces off Tsuchinoko and give thanks to the ancestors as you eat.
You feel quite invigorated from the slabs of flesh you consume. You gain 3 XP.

And now, "Poignant War Letters", an ongoing romantic series of tales of true devotion...

My dearest Nihlia

How I have missed your rheumy crimson eyes as they catch the light of the fires heating Raktam's stewpots. I have never seen someone's mouth foam before like yours does, catching the starlight in the middle of the island's heart, spraying me in the eyes as you yell at me for extremely inappropriate suggestions about a liaison.

I know you still love Raffles, but if only I could win your grey stringy heart for my own. I still treasure the poisonous snake you gave me in our last encounter in Raktam. I am still trying to come to grips with the mystery of the meaning of this gift. Is it symbolic for eternity? I don't know.

Killed Jixexil today. Who isn't a cannibal but made the mistake of being a native too close to the York theatre. Oh, and he was from Raktam. Whoops. Sorry. He was probably your son or something.

I think the Hierophant needs another apple. He looks scrawny and underfed. My mother always said not to keep pets unless you can look after them. I also think he's teething.

I put out word to the mercenary Deathstroke, to see if he wants to join in the fun. The Yorkers are being surprisingly supportive, despite he fact that I have killed almost 200 of them. I was in the trader's hut yesterday and one of them even healed me! They love me in York!

How I wish you were here, washing my underpants and socks with your clawed and calloused hands, and otherwise just enjoying your charming company.

With sweet cherry-on-the-top love

Last Laugh:
Is it really my fault that every time York is under attack I'm in a drug induced stupor frolicking through the jungles butt naked biting the heads of parrots and flailing around spewing incoherent nonsense... wait, that's what I do in York anyway. Never mind, it makes no difference.

If they're anything like me passed out and choking on their own vomit. That's classic Last Laugh. The true warrior's way.

It's gonna be a season of red and green pretty soon from what I hear.

Because I may or may not have heard it on the grapevine.

From the angle that I'm subtly suggesting I'm in the loop about these things.

Even though I'm more or less talking out of my .

If you know what I perhaps might ambiguously mean.

Buuuuuuddy, hey yo.

Jenerix525 senses that The Munch slinks forward from the darkness, sniffing his quarry, eyes milky in the dim from above.....

The Munch whispers in a cracked and horrible voice: "Ganna hazzam NAM NAMZ nah...anh hanh...."

The Munch bludgeons you until your skin splits and voids bones, which also crack and snap beneath his rabid hunger! He hammers until little is left that is not tenderized....and then...

You whisper to Jenerix525 , “Ahm ganna hazzam harmanbargar nah....NAM NAM NAM!!!!”

The Munch pulls a jagged, rusty blade, and the last thing you see is your body below as he raises your head high in triumph!!!

You attack Jenerix525 with a knife for 1 damage. You gain 1 XP. They die. You gain 28 XP.
You collect the head of Jenerix525 and clean it up before adding the skull to what you're carrying.
You carve pieces off Jenerix525 and give thanks to the ancestors as you eat.
You feel slightly invigorated from the slabs of flesh you consume. You gain 3 XP.

You carve pieces off Jenerix525 and give thanks to the ancestors as you eat.
You feel slightly invigorated from the slabs of flesh you consume. You gain 3 XP.
You say “BELCH!!!!!”
You say “Azgaz mah...”
The Munch, sated and sheepish, slips into the darkness once more, only a faint dripping interrupting the absolute silence of the deep deep cavern...
