Excellent. Ernest Hemingway, who today described someone as "more unmanly than a princess' sparkly underpants", will cut short his shargle hunt (after one last bear kill so as to get the bronze bear badge) and make his way there too.

Sounds like a plan. I'll play "Portal Roulette" a few times, try to get closer. Ooo, and Terrible Ed's coming?! Maybe the outdoors will help with his Vitamin D deficiency! Anybody wanna pony up prize money or anything? Victor's got a heavy sword to throw in the kitty.

C'mon kids, let's make some boot leather!

I feel like I should ask for Ed because we know he's bad with directions, but we're talking about the Twin Lake Swamps right?

Good stuff, Griddles. I could toss in 50 gems to the winner.

Akbar, no - we're talking about the crab claw swamp, just south of Rakmogak.

Get your scurvy arse over there, Ed, or ye be a lubber of land!

Wannion ye Akbar! Me navigational skills be second t' none! If I can locates a wee festered scab on th' buttocks o' th' earth like Shartak Isle I can sure sniff out meself a swamp. Onst Ter'ible Ed stumbled into th' York swamp by mistake an' began killin' what he thought was crocs, but turned ou' t' be sword farmers! I be nay in York, but in Derby! Embarrassin' t' were. An' I be nay land lubber Dave, I'll be thar sure as eggs be eggs! I'll jus' hade northeast until me boots gets soggy.

Ernest is halfway between Wikisk and the swamp. So give me two days and I'll be there. What about you, Neil?

I'll ask Simon to promote it and if he will give participants a badge.

I've now written to Simon about formalising it as a contest and promoting it as...

THE 2016 ALLIGATOR SMACKDOWN!
