Applogies it took so long.

Python:

Silverback - Bronze, Silver, Gold:

I think they qualify as good enough. I'm good for a request to tweak anything.

If any template is needed i can upload those too.

They might have looked calmer, it was a badge flip when I queried for specifications. They pick fights with most humans who come close anyhow.

I have to install an image editor again. What color should the songbirds be? I always symbolically associated them with the color light blue for its placidity. White, orange, green, and yellow, or some combination of these and other colors would work as well.

I think light blue would work just fine, Killian. The classic songbirds are from the Passeri, and tend towards blue/violet wings and yellow or beige undersides. But there are so many variants, you could probably throw together any combination and find some species somewhere that shows your preferred coloration, if you find that boring. Green uppers are well-attested among South American songbirds, for example.

Query about badges vs. kill stats, though: how are the "upgraded" variants treated? For example, if one has 99 "tiger" kills, and 1 "ferocious tiger" kill, do they stack? And does the statistics page mirror badges, or stats, or what? I just now noticed that Victor (id #671) has a fully-grown giant squid kill, and has the achievement and badge, but shows zero squid kills on the /statkills page? As does #3 in the stats, mouse? Is there a script that's missing certain "upgraded" animals based on naming conventions, perhaps?

I suspect a naming issue. There are only two hard things in computer programming: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors. Wink

I'm getting closer to a bird native to hispaniola, namely one endangered or extinct, for memory. I figure a bird too bright would unbalance the current badge palette.

I mgiht have said this before, but I love it when Griddles posts.

Upgraded stacks as far as I know.

I believe upgraded kills shows up as Special in the kill stats.

Speaking of Missing Badges and things, I've updated the wiki for the past few contests given, new weapons, and the missing badges.

How about a map badge? Bronze, silver and gold for 25, 50 and 200 maps?

I was thinking badges for killing a number of people from specific towns would be cool.

That's a good one.  Maybe a bronze silver gold like the animals?  10, 50, 200?

Though I seem to be the only one intent on achieving this, and as I'm nearing my goal(bronze level anyway), how 'bout badges for killing elves.

I'm all for seeing who is in the lead with maps. I think Cudgel has inched me out of the top by four or five now.
