This one is having tinily different formula from the winter series and involves more cautious target choosing. And, as always, great prizes and so on Grin (maybe not heavy, as you can go bath in the mud yourself).

Contest starts April the 1st

PRIZES are top seekrit, but I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed

Rules of engagement are simple - for every Durhamite Underworlded during competition period you gain some points. Below you can see sort of scale with score-card, additional bonuses at the bottom.

Winning score - 579 pts

All the (+) and (-) sum up with base 11 points, so bagging dangerous folk gives you 32 pts. Or more - look at the bonuses!

level 0-3 = -11 pts (not sure U-world logs this, but still...)
peaceful (0 pc kills) = -6 pts

Durhamite = 11 pts
dangerous (20-50 pc kills) = +21 pts
very dangerous (50-100 pc kills) = +31 pts

BONUS POINTS
this mofo killed only your people (natives if you are native and so on) = +2 pts
nice post here, bragging about your kill = +2.5 pts
saying something (well, it can be something, but better be witty!) before killing your target and posting a nice screenie = +3.5 pts
killing your target with shovel only (ss needed) = +6 pts
killing your target with fists only (ss needed) = +11 pts
healing another contestant (ss needed) = +3 pts

So, if you are interested in Spring X-Game I - Durham (or SeXI for short) post your contestant profile here.

Can I play with one alt and send the prize to another? And are there any regulations against PKing? Because a newly-made durhamite PKer would probably do better than either of my current characters.

Yay!

I'm worth -6 points!

Hmm, I don't have any animal/NPC kills either, I think I should be worth even less.

So.  If you overshoot, the only way to fix it would be to kill L3s with no PC kills, since Underworld doesn't list levels 0-2.  Correct?

(I have a PKer alt.  You figure these things out over time.)

Actually, I think the Underworld does list level 0-2 kills.  It's based on who killed you last, which applies for level 0-2 players just as much.

Does it really?  I thought the underworld logged by last death, meaning that--oh.  Right.  I had forgotten that not getting credit for the kill didn't mean the guy who died didn't have the death marked.

I don't pay attention to the "community" as I should so excuse me, but what exactly is the thing that must be done? I get the "bonus points" thing, is that for killing anything?

should the rules say "for every Durhamite Underworlded KILLED during competition" Huh???

One must gain 579 pts by killing Durhamites starting 1st of April, each Durhamite is worth 11 pts plus or minus the bonuses listed up there. Winner gets the prize and it's fourth headhuntering event, first after winter games.

oh, if you manage to fill your Underworld with id's without killing them, you are going to get the prize with the oak-leaf

Well, one could collect the required points if one gets killed by Durhamites. Would that count as winning? Smiley
