This isn't your moment! Trust me, Une, it gets a lot harder when you hit around 20...

Reaching level 10 without killing anything in a game whose core gameplay is killing is distinctively different...

For you perhaps, but what is boring for one person is often fun for another. The way to make a truly successful game is to find something that appeals to all, or find a way to have a game that supports multiple ways to play it which are fun for a wide group of players.

Well I have a hunter character that doesn't PK (and levels much faster -.-) and a character that kills anything that moves. This is a nice change. So much so that she became my flagship character. And thanks to all for the gratz.

Heh, well, its a good concept to base a characters actions after. Took me a bloody while to get my own non-hostile character over the 2-digit level border, but I never bothered being competitive with her either. With the lack of npc-villagers in the game, its a good sign to see more people have characters who never intend to shed anyones blood, bringing more credibility to villages being else than gathering-points for an unbalanced populace of people with often ignorant or crazy viewpoints on what they live for in their "homes".
So certainly, bravo! A path without violence is one to be granted as much dignity as one tainted with bones and lives broken.

I got Lady Anna Une to level 10 without ever wielding a weapon. Well, I'm proud. Bravo! I have much respect for anyone that follows a non-violent path. no killing = most boring person in shartak ever. For you perhaps, but what is boring for one person is often fun for another. The way to make a truly successful game is to find something that appeals to all, or find a way to have a game that supports multiple ways to play it which are fun for a wide group of players. This is why I love Shartak. People can follow very different paths even when using the same class. It's all down to RP and imagination. Killing is fun, but not the only avenue to success. Reaching level 10 without killing anything in a game whose core gameplay is killing is distinctively different... it's what people make out of it, really Yep...
