((Please comment this text and post short-novels here.  Smiley ))

"Oh man, oh man, oh man!" Mill Wilkinson mumbled to himself as he was running through a dense jungle. Behind him he could hear a machete whack, every second a bit closer. His chaser was more adapted to jungle than Mill was, so it was only a matter of minutes when Keiichi would catch him and Mill would have to fight for his life.

It all had started a couple of weeks back, Mill couldn't remember when. He never had done damage to Keiichi, but there he was, running through a rainforest. When Mill had asked why Keiichi continued to torture him, he explained that after Otacon had left for better hunting grounds he needed someone to hate. Mill would have been ready to settle for it, but no.
One day, when Mill was reading the latest York Times, Keiichi barged in to Greenwolves headquarters in York, machete in hand. Mill barely parried Keiichi's first blow with his kukri and slicked away from the building. Since that day Mill had been running here and there in Shartak trying to get rid of his tormentor.

Suddenly Mill heard sounds of battle coming behind him. He turned to look back and saw some parrots rising in the air, afraid of the yelling and the noises of metal glancing together. Parrots in the coast had already adapted to the sounds, but these had yet to learn.
Suddenly as they started, the noises also ended, leaving the jungle unnaturally quiet. Probably a tiger chose Keiichi for meal, Mill thought and gave the great spirit, creator of Shartak, a brief prayer for his chaser. He then turned his face to south, where he could see the seashore. From seashore he would get to York in no time.
A parrot flew to a treebranch above Mill. It looked at him curiously and then said: "Armadox is behind you!"
"Oh !" were the last words of Mill Wilkinson.

Nice one with the parrot thing
---------------------------------
The sun was setting on the peaceful town of Derby, as Rob shuffled papers around on his desk. The budget reports and brutality complaints that he had to read made about as much sense to him as York politics. Maybe if I moved them around enough, he thought, I'll actually lose the damn things.
Taking a break, he walked to the window of his hut, leaning out to admire the view of the sunset as it sank over the jungle. He breathed a deep sigh, which was abruptly cut off when a foot long piece of wood appeared in the wood of teh hut at the side of his head.
'What the...?' he mumbled, flicking the thing. When another one almost hit his hand on the window sill, he knew what was going on. Grabbing his rifle from off the wall, and checking his heavy sword was in place, Rob ducked through the door of his hut and ran into the ammo hut.
'We're under attack!' he shouted.

To make it a point, my character's name is Keiichi, Adin Tel Barri'mtor is the name of the dark elf I roleplay on this forum.

You asked "Do you believe in love?"
and I shook my head
So, your sins unto me as I fall down
never to return from this land
My wings are clipped, my voice stilled,
Goodbye.

And me? Become a target of a tiger? My hatred of you is heightened! I shall counter with a story of my own.

Err, no. It's between the lines, you see.

Those two thick-words have a connection, you see.
