yeah, tell me about it...

I've got to agree with you - there are quite a few naive people out there, bound by the conventions and rules of their society. Like you, i'm also unrestrained by those rules. A lot of people don't see that. Until its too late.

As for myself, I also had it pretty rough. Being brought up on the streets with violence all around you gives you a different perspective of life. A lot of people don't realize how fortunate they really are.

When your young you don't understand that fact untill it's to late.

Unfortunately, when I was young, I learnt that fact all too soon. I guess they call it learning the hard way... I also don't regret my past or the things i've done and the people i've eaten... but to be honest, I wish I had made some different choices. There are some times that I wish I could just live by the rules that everyone else lives by. They don't even aknowledge people like me.
It makes it pretty hard to find ordinary work.

I still bounce occationally when I'm inable to find work as anything else, and you learn from your experiences.

I'm getting old so I can't bounce like you can... Hell, i don't even go for contracts anymore. You might just find this funny, but I work on an ice-cream van these days - go ahead and laugh, but when you've had a life as tough as mine any ordinary work is welcome. I still get bothered every now and again by the kind of people I used to associate with (not the kind of people you'd want to f**k with), but they pretty much leave me in peace. Considering my reputation they don't have much of a choice...

*Breaks down and laughs* Oh, That's amusing. An ice cream truck you say? G3N thought your parody is pretty entertaining, your basically right. True, some people have bad lifes, and almost everyone does something stupid, or illegal occationally. Those like me needed to do it for survival, but it's not usually as dramatic for most folks.
The rules apply to everyone, just not everyone gets caught. Prisons are filled with bastards who did something once and it bit them on the . Those that don't have two options, try again or do something right. There's no use to being remorseful when you can't change what you've done in life. Do better with what you can change, and things might just end up even.
Now yes, I still bounce, but it's nothing near in the places I used to go. If you never learn from your mistakes your bound to repeat them.
And althought I hate you for reminding me, it is also true that people who don't get along well in society usually don't find ordinary work. I work for the State of Florida. My job classification is Human Service Worker I for the Mental Retardation Defendants Program. I'm a psychiatric aid for the criminally insane. All that is fancy for " I baby sit the same stupid bastards who simply got caught". I got lucky, I do my best to stay out of trouble.
What surprizes me is so many of you know drug dealers. I sure as hell wouldn't be buying sleeping pills off one. Knew a couple of prostitutes off the west side of Jax though.

I'm kinda planning to go to a big-name college, and I'd like to keep my job the way it is right now, so I'm not starting with drugs.

well since we're sharing ive pretty much done all the usual you expect from a kid, shop lifting, assault, vandalism, arson, break and entry, underage drinking all the usual. but i did it all for kick just cos i was bored, except the assualt part that comes with living in HK and going out to the places i go, too many people with big egos and even bigger lists of friends.

though armadox if your actually serious about having no remorse for things you've done then that worries me, cause everyone needs principles and boundaries, adn i would honestly say i would rather die than compromise myself.
