What would be the benefits of starting my own clan (as I plan to do)?

In the end you can be as awful and hated or loved as the CP is, run the trading business like SSTC or just wander around like our group, which is not a clan I remind you - Wicksick Headhunters.

Would call em social benefits

Well it brings together peopl who have the same aim as you in game. If you're the leader then, depending on how you run your clan, you can be a dictator and have an army at your disposal.

As mentioned there are social benefits. The MG forums are very active on many matters that aren't related the game.

It's great to have a group of people you can go from place to place with and have a laugh.

I see.

Maybe I should start a cute clan...seems cliche, but maybe I'll make it work...

Yay! We could be all of the cute animals in Shartak!

Is it possible to have both natives and outsiders in the same clan? ^0.o^

You can make membership as restricted or open as you like.  My native is a member of the South Shartak Trading Company.  On the other hand, some clans are only open to certain professions or certain villages.  For instance, the Derby Hospitallers require that all clan members be from Derby.

Hmm...I like the idea.

I think I'll do it.
