Seeing as every thread on the MG boards got very off topic very quickly I think this is a fitting tribute to the clan.

Good point. That's a much longer story than you know, though. That goes waaay back to the CDF, half the people who joined the MG that came from the CDF were part of a relatively good group of friends who'd OT every topic. I was the one who created the spam board on the CDF forums, even. If I'm not mistaken it STILL says Shiny New Spam Board on the title or description. It's like a year old. You know what else is a year old? A kid born on May 27th in 2006. Speaking of babies, look at this kick-ass specimen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwLIsSSeguA
On the topic of Metallica, I don't really like 'em as much as most people do. I prefer Nirvana. Grunge; that's from Seattle. Seattle has a lot of serial killers, did you know that? Guys like Ted Bundy spent time there. Not Jack the Ripper though - he was from London. I've never been to London, but I really wanna see Westminster Abbey. France also has great Abbeys. Like Mont Saint-Michel in Normandie, that place is pretty neat. There was this lady there that made omelettes, her name was Mere Poulet or something. The restaurant made in her name is nasty, much unlike Chinese Buffet Restaurants. How can food so greasy and filthy be so goddamn good? Speaking of food, anyone here ever work at MacDonalds? I bet that sucked. All that grease and the heat... Grease is a pretty good movie, though. I mean, except for the singing. I can't sing worth a crap since my voice changed. Not that I, uh, try to sing. Except for with the Ramones. Hey, have I mentioned I look like Dee Dee Ramone? Except my name isn't as dumb. My name's Simon, much like Shartak's creator's name, which coincidentally is also Simon, although I'm not him and he's not me. I'm just someone who plays the game as The Malice. I founded the Mercenary's Guild, which you might have heard about because this thread pertains to it. The MG died recently, and this is a memorial thread, but these  hypocrites always make the goddamn threads go off-topic.

if you start talking like Kjendlie we're quarantining the place.

I'm fine with the idea you proposed, Daves, but I'm not deleting our forums, in-game clan page, or wiki - I can mention the merger if ya want, but the MG is dead and archived, the members that are still in it are there only for historical and nostalgic purposes. You're free to persuade them to join your group, there's absolutely no reason not to. The MG is dead, though. Act like all the members have left it, and it's no longer doing business, and it doesn't plan on doing business again. The Name, Wiki, and Forum are taken, but the copyright's timed out.

Cool. thanks for that. Its up for vote at our forum, so we'll see what happens.

And... the vote didn't get up. Hmph.

Well, didn't read the whole lot of posts but regarding the disbanding of the stalemate MG I'd like to express my deepest and most humble joy. Seems this one or two little rituals of mine worked out
