I just logged on Shartak in firefox, and the the basic in-game graphics has gone - there's no huts, trees or signs - I can read the signs, search the trees and enter the huts, but I can't see them!?! Then I log on in Explorer, and it's all there!
Anyone else turned blind in firefox?

I don't know about the game itself, but I have to access this forum using Opera if I want to see any graphics. Things started to go wrong after I installed ad blocker. Even though I disabled it and reinstalled firefox, the problem continues.

Talking about invisible huts, I got lost in my own town, couldn't find the med hut, wasted all my Ap and fell asleep trying to kill Crowjane (Jesus)! EDIT: Argh, ! I found out why. Two natives where standing in front of the med hut, causing the hut icon to disappear, plus the jungle regrew, so those two things made me lose memory of where I was!

You probably managed to block images from forum.shartak.com accidentally. There should be a section in preferences that is called "Content" and under that - Load Images Automatically [Exceptions]. You might find you blocked images from the site in there.. if so, simply select the shartak sites and click "Remove Site". I'm using FF on a mac so it might be different to Windows. With regards the issue of the disappearing huts, I updated the stylesheet last night so it might be you're still running with an old copy of it. Open http://www.shartak.com/styles.css and shift-Reload to force a new copy of it to be loaded. Hopefully the changes won't have any impact on the various greasemonkey scripts in use, but it's prep work for the Shartak Skinning Project (as Lama likes to call it).

well in real life don't huts usually disappear when people stand in front of them? If you're using an unofficial UI tweak then sorry if the latest changes to the map have broken it, but I tried to keep the changes to a minimum. I don't plan on changing them again any time soon.

What the hell is a “UI tweak”? I haven’t downloaded anything to for Shartak or any other games, I just use internet explorer that’s all.

This poor bunch of pixels needs some good PR! Officially we could name it Giving Shartak a Fancy Look, but would anyone buy it? Let alone the name, thanks to the your updates everyone can make Shartak look different and that counts These backgrounds are just a poor attempt, regarding a possibility to create an image-driven map with no borders and smooth transitions between the tiles. What the hell is a “UI tweak”? I haven’t downloaded anything to for Shartak or any other games, I just use internet explorer that’s all.
IE could be called UI tweak, as it reads most of the web content in its own special way, not exactly how it should
