The PoolYou climb inside.
Anthor bows gracefully to all, especially the Ancient One jaqs

You say “Well, we'll see if he turns up.”
Xek kills the small deer with a knife.
Xek kills the small deer with a knife.
A parrot squawks loudly.
Xek kills the parrot with a knife.
A parrot squawks "You know, I never had trouble with rats until the outsiders began poking their heads around."
Chief Joe looks around at the people. "what part of 'come alone' was unclear?"
Chief Joe says “also you killed all the animals. I understand it's rather difficult to lure them in here. Good job.”
Chief Joe looks down at his cracked watch. "oh right, the time."
Chief Joe says “My way of saying, 'you're not the king anymore, so you'll damn well wait for me to arrive'.”
Chief Joe says “The fact that you're still here after an hour is a nice way of cutting through all the swaggering and macho stuff, don't you think?”
Chief Joe spreads his hands wide. "So. What should we talk about? I was thinking Wiksik could use a baseball team. Maybe have games against Raktam. Championships in Rakmogak."
You say “Yes, you kept me waiting for almost an hour. You're lucky I was distracted enough to wait around. At least you didn't send your thug Hexoatl to bump me off. ”
Chief Joe glances at the animals waking up and trotting about. "huh. That's neat."
You say “I won't of course be hanging around waiting for you again.”
Chief Joe shrugs. "The fact that you waited around sez that this meeting is more important to you than it is for me."
Chief Joe says “Hexoatl isn't my thug. He serves me willingly.”
You say “Yes, it's amazing the animals just appear from nowhere”
You say “Not really, I was talked into coming. Personally I was waiting for a visit from the Ancient Ones, and then off for a pint at the local tavern.”
Chief Joe says “Ah. The good fairy kept me busy late, so that's my excuse.”
You say “But here I am. My allegience is to the Necromancer's Guild now. Although Wiksik comes a close second.”
You say “So, let's not beat around the bush. As far as I'm concerned you have no jurisdiction over the NG, nor the Spirit Hut.”
Chief Joe says “I got no problem with that. The mistake was thinking you could surrender your kingdom, walk down the avenue and still be a king in all but name.”
You say “If you continue to have your minions murder and exorcise within the Spirit Hut, well, I won't even threaten what will happen. You'll see.”
Chief Joe says “What worked when you were a king--you and etherdrifter as cronies--doesn't work for me.”
Chief Joe says “I killed one guy, only after hexoatl complained.”
You say “I have no claim over the Kingdom of Wiksik anymore. But you will quickly come to realize that the Kingdom will have difficulty standing without the help of the NG.”
Chief Joe says “I got killed three times in return.”
You say “You took it upon yourself to murder a member of the NG, in our Spirit Hut, without any discussion on WHY Hexotal was executed.”
Chief Joe says “To borrow from white man religions, the king must be the crucible for the sins of Wiksik.”
You say “And of course, the spirit hut is not under your jurisdiction, you should not have been killing anyone in there anyway. As neither should Hexoatl, who is a mass murderer.”
Chief Joe says “I don't particularly care what he did. He got killed, so his killer gets killed. That's it.”
You say “Ah, religion. Death is the great equalizer.”
Chief Joe says “You know how that never worked in Durham? And it didn't work in Raktam? Well the only reason it worked here is because you tolerated it. I won't.”
You say “All paths lead to the same place. He got killed because he murdered 3 people in the Spirit Hut. So presumably you only protect your henchmen and not citizens of Wiksik.”
You say “You don't have a choice.”
Chief Joe says “I'm king, I have jurisdiction to kill murderers, anywhere in Wiksik. The spirit hut is no embassy.”
You say “You can live peacefully with us. Or you can join us in death.”
Chief Joe says “Not at all. If they'd have made their complaints to me, I'd have killed him.”
You say “You have no jurisdiction. You have no followers. You have nothing.”
Chief Joe says “You're still not getting it. You want things to remain exactly the same as they did before. That's not going to happen.”
Chief Joe says “When you gave me your kingdom you should have realized there'd be changes and you wouldn't like some of those changes.”
You say “As I said, you can work with us peacefully. I am open to that. Or you can open Pandora's box, and see what is released. It won't be pretty.”
Chief Joe says “Now I can compromise on some stuff, but I'm not going to turn a blind eye and let you do whatever you want. I do that now, you'll take that as incentive to keep screwing with me.”
You say “Whenever you do something that affects the Guild negatively, then you must bear the consequences.”
You say “Believe me, I have no interest in screwing with you.”
Chief Joe glances at Ezekiel Jones. "If the council of wiksik orders me to make peace with the NG, I'll make peace. But I have trouble understanding why they'd accept it under current conditions."
You say “I am content to dabble in the black arts, drink wine, and party with the Dead. But that's not good enough for you, you can't leave the NG alone. And there's where we have a problem.”
You say “I am willing to discuss peaceful terms, but those have to include Hexoatl not murdering or exorcising NG members.”
Chief Joe raises a finger, still looking at Ezekiel. "One simple rule: those who kill in Wiksik get killed themselves. By me. That way when they take revenge, they take revenge on me."
Peasblossom flutters into the group and hovers in the air, her legs crossed. She watches and listens.
You say “That I cannot agree to.”
Chief Joe turns back to Anthor. "You seem to be willing to have civil war just to get your way. With that one rule we can avoid all that crap."
You say “You have no jurisdiction over the NG, nor the Spirit Hut.”
Xek kills the small deer with a knife.
Xek kills the small deer with a knife.
Allanon the Wise says “I, for one, don't like that rule Joe.”
Peasblossom glowers at Xek but continues to watch what is happening, wings flicking irritably.
Chief Joe says “Because then the only person the murderer kills is the king. And the king can't take revenge. Not on Wiksiki.”
You say “War does not interest me. Only the protection of the Guild, and obviously I have concerns for my fellow Wiksikians.”
Chief Joe says “You can quit talking about jurisdiction anytime. Jurisdiction is irrelevant. Wiksik doesn't have a constitution.”
Allanon the Wise says “If someone kills me I want to go and kill them. You have no business in it.”
You say “That said, I have no fear of war. And I have no fear of death.”
Chief Joe says “If you're in Wiksik you have to follow some basic rules. The only important one is not to kill any other Wiksiki. Or anyone who makes their home here.”
You say “Ok, let me put it simply for you. Stay out of NG Business. You and your cohorts refrain from killing or exorcising in the Spirit Hut.”
You say “I have no interest in your rules.”
Peasblossom gives a tiny shrug. "I have no interest in laws and rules, I will kill those that act like fools. I don't follow a king that wishes war, not now and not before..."
You say “You are not my King.”
Chief Joe turns to Allanon. "I didn't invite you here, and considering you attacked me a few days ago, I don't give a damn what you think."
Chief Joe says “Fairy, you killed me twice already. I'm not counting on you to go to war.”
Allanon the Wise says “I belong to the KOW and the Council. You should care.”
Chief Joe says “But I am counting on you not to randomly attack me.”
Chief Joe says “If that's so, you should care not to attack your king.”
Allanon the Wise says “You were killing in the spirit hut which is forbidden”
Allanon the Wise says “and you are not my King”
Chief Joe says “So you're part of the kingdom of wiksik, but you have no king?”
Peasblossom sighs and her wings flick faster. "Expect none to aid your trifles; as always you shall turn coin to Raffles."
Allanon the Wise says “I am curious. When you took over the KOW, what made you think it also made you king of Wiksik?”
You say “You may familiarize yourself with Guild Law, Chief Joe:
http://wiki.shartak.com/index.php/The_Necromancers_Guild#Guild_Law”
Chief Joe says “It's forbidden to kill in the spirit hut because some people said so several years ago. I don't care what some people several years ago think. I say it's forbidden to kill ANYWHERE in Wiksik.”
Peasblossom nods at Anthor for a second, "As too I wondered why he claimed a crown when none would back him, but throw him down."
Chief Joe says “Because no one else wanted the job.”
Peasblossom looks a bit shocked for a second and then starts to laugh in a small tinkling voice, "So some words of others long time past, shall fall to words that you have cast?"
You say “If you won't abide by our laws, then we will have a big problem.”
You say “OOC -back in a couple of mins”
Chief Joe says “This uppity fairy here knew Anthor wanted to give up the clan, but she certainly didn't come relieve him of his burden. I did. What I didn't expect is that I wasn't allowed to do anything with it.”
Allanon the Wise says “You were only given the clan, not the kingdom or the crown.”
Chief Joe shrugs. "They aren't laws. They're just random things you came up with. Just like my simple rule, only my rule makes sense, and your rule invites anarchy.
Peasblossom cocks her head to the side and flutters closer to the angry would-be-king. "And would again, oh angry man, I have no need for crown, on head nor hand."
Chief Joe says “It's the same thing. As I told you once before, it isn't democracy. You want to have a vote for a new king, feel free to set it up.”
Peasblossom says “I chose to serve Wiksik by taking down those that kill, but warmongers never have their fill. Which is why I turn on a king of fools, who wishes to impose his rules.”
Chief Joe says “Don't call me a warmonger.”
Chief Joe says “I've made no wars on anyone.”
You say “Yet, violence and threats of war are all we've seen of you so far.”
You say “The rest of us just want to live peacefully. But we're murdered in our own homes.”
Allanon the Wise says “You tried with all you might before you started all this.”
Chief Joe says “I killed one guy, and did some sabre rattling.”
You say “Our fairy can't even flutter without fear of her wings being pulled off.”
Peasblossom pulls her feet back up underneath her and hovers midair. She nods for a second, "A vote to find a true king, I think I like this thing."
You say “I even had to return from my vacation in the caves to deal with you.”
Allanon the Wise says “Or Queen”
Chief Joe grins. "Great! Have a democracy. I'll leave you to it."
Peasblossom frowns at Anthor for a second, her wings droop a tiny bit before they start to flick once again.
Chief Joe waves. "Enjoy setting that up!"
You say “Yes, perhaps Wiksik needs a Queen. Of course, with some of those outfits you have Chief Joe, it's surprising you haven't been accidentally thought of as one.”
You say “Well, I guess he missed my last comment.”
You say “Did he die? Or just run off scared?”
Peasblossom smiles and her wings slow to a calm beat. "Seems we have to an agreeance come, Chief Joe shall let Wiksik choose its own. No more will he claim a crown or throne, and let those keep a happy home."
Allanon the Wise says “What? The little coward ran? ”
You say “Unless someone convinces me otherwise, I do not believe our troubles have ended today.”
You say “You believe he will keep to his word?”
Peasblossom shrugs, "As long as he kills none of our brothers I shall treat him like all others. Should I hear him claim crown again, he shall know my sword as friend."
Allanon the Wise thinks for a bit and grins. "Chief Joe Yellow Tail. Has a ring to it.
You say “Well, I do appreciate everyone who's come to this meeting, even though they were threatened not to by Chief Joe.”
You say “And yes, if he stops killing and stops his henchmen killing, then we shall have peace.”
You say “Perhaps the Council of Wiksik can run an election. A proper election.”
You say “Where any Wiksiki can run for Kingship or Queenship”
You say “And we can have an end to crazy

leaders.

”
You say “For now I must descend into silence, and ponder what has been said. But I will stay here for a while yet and if you have need of me, just speak.”
