This game is done for. Why? I couldn't tell. It could be because there isn't any instant satisfaction involved, and people don't have the patience involved to want to keep at it. Traveling to a different town can take up to a week depending on environmental hazards or exactly where it is you want to end up. The amount of effort put into any one task isn't great, there isn't really much to show for anything as the reward process is strictly upon skills or player-made.

Instead of people putting roleplay together, I think a critical look needs to be taken at Shartak's infrastructure. The skill system isn't too impressive, although it allows people to do what they need to with some extra like farming and spirits.

Also, the island of Shartak is massive. It really is. Although, in that landmass, is there really much to discover? Is there any point to go from one place or another other than you say you have? There isn't. There is no reason for people to go out and explore, there is no reason to kill people other than for bragging rights, and there is no reason to make gold. There is no end result for your efforts other than the ones you make up yourself.

I don't believe in cops, bosses, or politicians.
Some call that anarchism,
I call it having a :palm:ing heart that beats!
I do believe in freedom and never giving up.
Call my methods madness or call them luck.
I do what I got to, to feel able to breathe!
And if you quit your job well, you can do a little breathing with me.
