I'd like for the players who have "This character has indicated they have peaceful intentions and would prefer not to be killed.", to be able to get revenge. Yah, basically that's it, I would like to have it so the last killer of the player doesn't untrigger pacifism mode.
Though they get no xp for killing their killer, it's simply so that greifers can't sit in a hut and off the same player over and over again, knowing that when the player finally snaps and attacks back he looses his pacifism. This should not be so, they should be able to send that killer pirate back to the roving shaman..

You're suggesting a brand of pacifism that advocates violence? Must I fetch you a dictionary?

I'm suggesting a form of vigilantism. Some means to help those who don't want to fight, but must if they have too. And with no xp gain, most won't waste the AP for vengence, it'd only be useful for making camping greifers go away. Having someone hole up in the med hut, and when you come for supplies have them kill you, but if you so much as punch them, your suddenly on the menu? And if you don't, all they are going to do is sit there and keep killing you. I am all for players who feel they don't want to fight, but I find no solace in the idea of a game where you play a victim. If they can't attack back, what's the point? They didn't provoke the attack, I did when i killed them.

Does Shartak have a god of justice? Let's call him Nrumias. This is one of the most salient suggestions in a while. I vote yes for this idea. Though, I am curious if the kill would still appear in their record; some can't fly with that.

Yes, thought this is because I'm not sure if underworld can acknowledge the difference, and because it makes for an interesting philosophical issue, is the kill justified enough by the pacifist to let it define him? Thought if the kill can be kept from the underworld or off the kill stats (or perhaps ON the kill stats but in it's own stat I.E.- Revenge: 11: last kill: Playername) then I'd prefer that.
Also, I believe in Nrumias.

A true pacifist wouldn't resort to murder.
They would pay Raffles to do it.

Vigilanties don't have peaceful intentions, so they can't have the flag. You want the marker, one that has saved many a life from Raffle's rusty cutlass? Then take the rough with the smooth. Knowing that the guy waving a white flag in my face may well be an unrepentant killer would certainly remove any hesitation on my part to kill him. The fact he may be a hidden killer is even worse.

Not all players use the forum, or know there is a mercenary guild. You could even make the time it takes to reflag two weeks if your worried about "Hidden Killers".... wait, thinking about it, if they where hidden killers wouldn't they still have to wait till you killed them first to be able to attack you? If you don't hit folk with white flags, then they wouldn't be able to hit you.. would they?
Point is, flagging yourself makes you a victim to any griefer who wants to keep you out of huts. I watched a lowbie player die repeatedly just because a player sat in the med hut and wouldn't let the bastard resupply. And when I find it aggravating that there's no means to defend yourself, you know there is a problem.

There is a means to defend yourself! The same one the rest of us have.
Grab sword - Stab Offender to death - IF offender not get message THEN stab again - ELSE win
By hidden killers, what I mean is murderers whose kills aren't made public. Thereby going "Look, he's killed me three times and I've never killed him once! He is an Greeeefer! Or, indeed, just the clear unfairness of not having any consequences for your actions.
Also, people should hire me. I advertise in game too.

All kills should register on underworld. It's a different story whether they'd register on the actual kill stats, or just as a Revenge! statistic.
I don't really care about that part though. If you want to RP as a true pacifist, don't kill. it's just that simple. But if you're willing to get your hands dirty once in a blue moon to take out the neighbourhood douche, this skill works great. It would need an on/off switch though.

Thank you for using a logical shear and posting what I was going to ahead of time.
Raffles, since you are super famous, possess immense dry wit, and had a native village styled after your identity, I will hire you one of these days.

Pacifism comes back in less than a week, which makes this seem a little pointless. That being said I wouldn't object to it except the idea that the "pacificist" getting revenge means zero XP. That's retarded and almost like a punishment.

The problem is that in real life you can't kill someone after you have been killed (as far as I know). You'd have to bring back a famous pacifist and see what they would do
