An announcement from Blue Hummingbird:
The combined Royal Courts, based in Raktam, are holding the first annual bear hunt.
Bears are noble creatures, our brothers on the mountain. They test our skills and our strength. Bears are formidable and tough. We are proud to fight them on the slopes of the Great Mountain.
All hunters should assemble at the waterfall one week from today. Please sign here to indicate your participation. Bring blades, darts, healing herbs, and courage as you stare into the jaws of the eaters of men.
Good luck to all on the hunt and may the spirits of the ancestors guide your aim.

This is obviously a follow-up to Neil's excellent work on the Team Tathers Alligator Romp, which was a lot of fun. The idea is to kill as many bears as possible calculated from GMT midnight 12 19 September to GMT midnight 19 October. (I'm in Japan and Switzerland for work for much of October so my participation at least towards the end of this is likely to be limited.)
For those who don't know, bears are only found on the mountain. The other major hazard on the mountain are shargles. Goats, as you would expect, are generally not a problem unless provoked.
I've emailed Simon about boosting the bear population on the mountain, as well as providing a trophy for the most bears killed in one month, a badge for participants, a public unofficial annoucement, and some other bits and pieces.
I'll see if I can finalised the badge tonight and post it here.

Rotus Nurglin has hunted and killed all of no bears, my good sir. But he'd enjoy at the chance to take notes, feel the thrill of the hunt and who knows? Maybe he'll win and get a good story to bring back to York, or a bear head trophy for his study wall.
Armadox is right now trying to burn down a pumpkin patch and in fact can not attend.
