Where I live there have been riots last night and carrying on today so I thought I would share some pictures with you

A man was killed by a policeman on Thursday, so a peaceful protest to obtain answers (at a police station in Tottenham) was hijacked by hundreds of youths that burnt buildings and cars etc that carried on until early sunday morning but has restarted where I live about 5 hours ago.
All I can hear is sirens and helicopters and I think fire crackers?? and at the bottom of my brother in laws road there are riot police engaged in battle! More pics to follow hopefully
Updates on Sky News have said there are upto 700 youths causing trouble and a team of police dogs just went for 100 of them

Well I will be visiting the streets tomorrow morning because today laptops and tvs brand new and looted were being sold for £20 each on street corners and I have my eyes on a 50 inch plasma  The picture below is Krispy Kreme just gone up in flames..thats bad times |

You ignorant dicks from the Big City, living in your little bubble - I have to drive about fifty miles to find a Krispy Kreme, and you go and burn one down? It's that sort of attitude that caused the economic bust.
But I'm willing to let all that go if you can find me a new laptop. I don't need high-spec, just enough to play Shartak and do my weekly shopping online.

those pictures are really cool. i went to the west coast once, for a weekend, for a punk festival. i mean i traveled to the other coast to see vice squad and broken bones, among other bands. because of like, five-seven nazi skinheads, and a group of antifas skins that called themselves 'unity crew' who made sure the nazis knew they werent welcome. they shut the show down before vice squad and the adicts played.(at least i saw broken bones!) they brought in riot cops to disperse the crowd, tear gassed the arena it was held at, which prompted the punks and skins, pissed the show was cancelled, to get out of hand. the area got shut down by cops, and there was 'rioting.' it was more just destruction of property, less clashing with police. although, a jack in the box did get set on fire. it was pretty awesome to be in though, our hotel was right in the middle of all of it. there were videos on myspace(it was a while ago, hah) the weekend after. probably still on youtube. im thinkin 'british invasion 2k6'
