An announcement to Blue Hummingbird's followers:

The Hierophant and his followers are in York, advocating slavery of natives. Blue Hummingbird is laying siege to the city, and has cowed the inhabitants. All who abhor the slavery of fellow natives should come to York and slay those who would trade in humanity.

Blue Hummingbird is carefully and deliberately picking her opponent. Those who advocate the murder or slavery of natives are doomed. Peaceful Yorkers are let be. Targets include Cupid Stunt and Josiah Winthrop, who have reacted by offering bounties to resistance. But Blue Hummingbird has written proclamations, detailing those to be executed, and these are throughout the village, unerased. There has been no opposition to this from the local townsfolk, who, even if passively, clearly support the extermination of evil.

Today, the Hierophant was found hiding in a hut, and was executed, his skull taken as a trophy. There was no glory in this: it was done as one would treat a rabid animal, with clinical detachment. The corpse seemed human, aside from thick callouses around the knuckles and a line of coarse fur extending down the spine. But a brief study of the skull was revealing: it was very small, more akin to a chimpanzee's skull, but with two very small horns above the hairline. This unclean artefact has been buried in the dirt in an unmarked grave. The jungle around it will be set fire so as to reduce the abomination to ashes.

Last Laugh would like to it to be recorded that he does not support the enslavement of the native peoples... he just wants to skin a few, a man needs something to put up in the ol' trophy cabinet.

But slavery? Really now? They think that these uncivilized, wild savages would make good servants. Pfft, I say we enslave the people from Derby, they've shown that they're willing to follow impotent leaders blindly and with a bit of competence, that's the kind of qualifications I'd like to see in my second class populous.

ok first of all native blue bitches got no right to tell good honest yorkers what to do. we dont go into your :palm:ty villages and tell you what to do ruining one village is enough for us.

second the slavers isnt my idea its cupids i'm just along for the ride but i agree with him because why kill natives when they just come back to life when you can turn them into property. plus all these foreigners keep nosing around york when their not wanted so the solution is to let them come but with there masters whip at their backs. me im willing to slave derbyians and durhamers too but i dont think a white man could ever own another white man he'd kill himself first. well maybe not pirates but i dont want :palm:ing pirates in york period. but natives are different they can be obedient little darkies if you get them while their young and lay it on them good.

third i see your graffitti and its all in native ick-wick speak so no wonder nobodys saying anything because they dont understand that jabbering and good for them. i can read my own name in native but thats it.

The Slavers are indeed encamped in the south of York, occupying a few huts. Blue Hummingbird has changed the hut names this morning.

Manticore: Be wary of killing anti-slaver Yorkers. Darkkai, for example, whoever he is, yesterday killed the Hierophant in the weapons hut.

I've Found Darkkai, or at least his body, and exorcized an unidentifiable spirit found drifting within. I didn't get one of the targets on that list, but I did get one on mine. York would do well not to further harbor and shelter such vile racists for the calumnity they'd bring upon your otherwise sterling settlement.
