I don't believe in cops, bosses, or politicians. Some call that anarchism, I call it having a :palm:ing heart that beats! I do believe in freedom and never giving up. Call my methods madness or call them luck. I do what I got to, to feel able to breathe! And if you quit your job well, you can do a little breathing with me.

I, Dani al-Ghazali, Mukhtar of Durham, have returned from my exile to right the wrongs of my beloved village and bring the killers of the innocent to holy justice. I proclaim this day, July 14 2011, the beginning of the Durham Spring. You say “Greetings, I am Dani al-Ghazali, governor of Durham.” (2011-07-14 04:49) Your intentions toward others are no longer peaceful. (2011-07-14 04:49) You attack Cylerne with a cutlass for 3 damage. They die. (2011-07-14 04:49) Underworld log successful . (2011-07-14 04:51) Dani al-Ghazali hacks off the dead man's hands one at a time. "A rule of thumb for aspiring leaders. Don't kill your own citizens unless you have to."
This was the first infidel to die; he was killed in accordance with shari'a. The others will not be so fortunate. I call on all loyal citizens of Durham to put aside your differences and put these Drifters to rout.

I prefer not to fight, but the very appearance of these "drifters" is proving to be just a step back. Furthermore, they avoid the question of Durham's citizens, thus showing no interest in the well-being of us. So I will answer this call to arms. It's time to return peace to Durham. -Abdul Alhazred

At this time, I feel it prudent to admit, I had made an error. False information provided to me before my resurgence lead me to believe the Machetti Family was in need of removal prior to my group re-establishing its roots here. Also at this time, I am going to inform you, I have discussed this particular with Mr. Machetti, and over the past few days, the only fatalities incurred by my forces were at the hands of non-affiliated personnel. Likewise, my men have been restrained from killing anyone that has ceased aggression against us. As it stands, my men only have outstanding writs of execution for three people.
None of these people are affiliated with the The Machetti Family, the New Age Mercenary Guild, or Club Palermo.
I have personally apologized to Mr. Machetti for bringing bloodshed to his respectable establishment. As I consider this an internal matter between gentlemen, and one that has resolved itself for the most part. If you wish to continue this particular conflict, any further blood spilled by my men will be directed solely at the aggressors.
As for renovation plans regarding Durham, those are being developed between myself and my advisers when we are not tracking down those individuals that are dragging this conflict further.

I think I could get to like this new group. Much akin to my own meandering mumbles most gentlemanly.
Whomever gave you your information either gave it to you with a taste of hate or contempt for the Machettis. As everyone knows, they simply run a bar. As you know now, he's a very reasonable man, and I'm glad the sensible sort has prevailed in the end.
So long as your words ring true, the Society of New Haven welcomes you to the Peninsula.
Cheers.

Regardless, as I have from the beginning, I will stand by Dani al-Ghazali, having been loyal to him since my arrival to this island. No matter who makes claim to Durham, Mukhtar Dani al-Ghazali is, in my eyes, the only one fit to lead Durham. My loyalty is everlasting, Khalil al-Ghazali.

I remember the Democratic Republic of Durham saying the same thing when New Haven came to town, and that certainly didn't end well. If they mean well, let them be and take their apology. What good would more killing do you, save to repair a measure of bruised pride?

Your loyalty is touching, seyyid. But we should consider what the infidels have to say before we create further malcontent in the City. After all, we are not the barbarians here. seyyid Roderik, I see you are a man of sense. Let us negotiate over the custody of Durham, with words rather than blades. I invite you and one other of your choosing to join me and my second at a neutral location (I'll PM you) in three days time. Weapons are permitted but drawing them will court dishonour; this is to be a peaceful summit. Anyone with an explicit interest in the future of Durham should attend...make your mark below. Dani al-Ghazali, Mukhtar of Durham

The newcomers only bring violence to Durham. Their violence is met with equal threat! No member of the Durham Drifters shall be free of threat unless they offer a tribute to me. PS; I'm very cheap.

Ibn al Xuffasch recognizes al Muktar as the Mahdi, the voice of the Prophet. They say by the age of 13 he was a hafiz, one who can recite the entire Koran from memory, and knew the Hadith as well as his own name. At 14 he donned the jibba, and like the Prophet, stood alone during the night reciting the Koran. At 15, he learned the Sammaniya dikr, and learned the 99 names of Allah. At 16, he emerged from isolation with the revelation that he is al Mahdi al Muntazar, the Expected Guide, personally selected by the Prophet to bring an earthly paradise.
Durhamistan shall soon be part of Dar al Islam, inshallah. Let it be by peaceful means. I will join you, O Mahdi, in the west in support of the establishment of a caliphate.
