Pulled from my original post. So here's the deal, sign up in this thread, you got till 11JUL2011 to do so. On July 11th until one month later (ONE WHOLE MONTH!) you net yourself a gator kill, you get a point. Get a hungry gator, get another point. Manage to bag something bigger than a hungry gator (like the mythical man-eating gator!) get yourself five points!
D'oh! Never saw it, until you just pointed it out.  Still proud of my achievement, though the contest is lost to me. I remain one of the top alligator killers of all time!. Think I was third or something last time I checked... We all have to find our niche to excel! |

Argh, Ibn al Xuffasch has been killed twice by Ectobyte and then by a 800lb gorilla in the last two days. Ibn's grand finish has been interfered with by assassination and travel.

Great contest and I feel the need to praise the fantastic sportsmanship from all the contestants. Good organization too. Had some good laughs during it and I still remember the shock of seeing the swamp completely clear at one stage.
I'm also tempted to ask to join Team Tathers now.

Well, that was fun. I went into the contest knowing I wasn't going to win, and... well, I think I may have taken the whole "knowing I wasn't going to win" thing a bit far, with not going online several times simply b/c I didn't feel like it, but I still had fun, and it was certainly nice to have a bit more direction than I usually do. Congratulations to Eyes of a Hawk, Pelleas, Alzado, and Gretchen, as well as Ibn al Xuffasch for your Hungry Alligator kill... wish I could have gotten one of those. Ah well.

Aww, I just kept at em. Thought I'd be clever and hide out by another swamp when the contest started, so I got late to the man-eater party.
And sure- a bunch of gold is certainly welcome. Hats off to Alzado for the gesture.
Gretchen is down by York now... and dead. Not sure how soon she could make up back up there, but I'll trail along the beach side from Derby and see.
