What's going on? I've never seen the map so red before.

For those not playing anymore, maybe you should get back in there. I'm not really sure what'll happen if the survivor side goes extinct. Maybe it'll trigger some Escape plan for zombies and Kevan will fly down on a beam of light to explain where he's been since--ever. or probably nothing.

Anyway, you're officially invited to help the horde of feral undead break the game for good.

The only pockets of resistance now are from the south-west: Old Arkham and New Arkham. I've had to migrate a good ways just to find survivors, and all my alts are dead too.

Oh wow. I'd love to see it break to the zombie hoardes. I might check it out with Bobby the Hatchet, my retired Gore Corper.

I've been helping the zombie cause from the Living side for a few weeks now, though those bastards eat me anyway when they find me. Two days ago there were still about 5 or 6 suburbs "active" in the southwest, though today most of them are now taken and survivors seem to be escaping to the west.

One of my alts is dead, the other was just revived. Getting a revive is fairly easy if you get to a survivor zone, they don't mind if you are a Pker or not. Really, I don't believe they even bother checking the Rouges Gallery anymore.

This is going to be an interesting week...

Well, I haven't played in a long time. I guess I could reactivate meatwadjm, he is a pro-human cause member and an ANG recruiter, with revive ability. When I get around to it. Hey, I haven't even played Hell Rising in over a year. Sad, I kind of lost interest in survival horror in general.

New and Old Arkham are already done for. All the survivors are dead as of yesterday. My Extinction character is way up in the NW, reveling in the bleakness. My recent survivor character left Old Arkham earlier today in search of a revive. Seems to me like one of the ghost towns might be his best bet for one. Tongue

Standing Survivors : 2155 (14%)
Standing Zombies : 12571 (86%) almost  Tongue

I haven't confirmed this myself, but some say it is very unlikely to exterminate every survivor, due to the search and attack rates getting higher. They say syringes and ammo are easily findable even in ruined buildings. I've been relying on my axe to kill other survivors, so I'll check next time I stand in a PD.

The sudden surge of zombies has been caused by the group known as "The Dead". They hail from the Something Awful forums. The Something Awful forums has over 152,000 users. The Dead numbers around 1600. So plenty more people could join. I'm pretty sure they could wipe out the entire map if they garnered enough interest.

We're still kicking around, trust me. Haven't died yet actually, slept with some zombies too. Squatters aren't always so aware.

Well, back to old necromancer policies I guess.

If you need a revive pm me and I'll see what I can do, I only keep one active alt but he tends to always have a full bag of syringes.  Just don't ask me to go into death traps Tongue
