For anyone that hasn't seen the news yet (and has a Sony Playstation Network account)... Sony had a major security breach 6-9 days ago, wherein the account information for 77 million accounts was stolen. They're classifying this as potentially the biggest data theft ever, because of the amount of pieces of personal info stolen per account (not just the amount of accounts).

Please see here for Sony's FAQ on their network security breach of April 17-19th:

http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=2356

The Sony Playstation Network is still down so you cannot go in and change your password, or other information until it comes back up... but it's highly recommended that you change your passwords on any other sites that you are using the same password as you had on your Playstation. Also, look at potentially what you need to do to protect your credit, as the credit card information was potentially (they don't know yet or aren't telling us) stolen too. So, check with your credit card holder/bank and possibly the credit bureaus. This looks like it affects accounts worldwide.

Yeah, I've been checking every since Anonymous took it down a couple of weeks ago, but nothing has happened.

It was the only account that uses that password for me, I tend to use something different for every site and never save my passwords, make myself enter them all the time.

The internet is such a lazy fairy anarchy, it's insane. Computer knowledge is stratified and security software has a system complexity that a good hacker can pry open with enough experience, so I wasn't surprised that this finally happened.
