Wait, do you get the joke?

“I’m an Indian tonight, baby,” he announced. “C’mon, let’s let ’em have it.” Then he dumped a pickle jar of change on the floor, told her to get a machete, and went out to the garage.

The Royal Court is not absent, wise dice. It maintains its presence in Raktam as it always has.

Does this mean you are no longer a member of the Royal Court, Dame Prosper?

Mais non, m'sieu, but plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose--Zee kingdom, eet eez tres turbulent, oui? Alors, La Belle Dame, eet uh, 'rrrrolls weeth zee temps'.

Calliope Grieve's no joke, gentlemen. I'd sit up straight and remember your p's and q's if I were a Raktami.

Last time I heard of her she was near Wiksik. Dead. What king of lazy raktami governor is that? Wasting time under the shades of jungle trees when she should be... uh... enslaving townfolks, or something like that? At least that is what I'd do if I were the king. Of anything.

Searching the area, you find a fungi.
There's no reason I would ever hire mercs to do a job, since you get involved in so many petty conflicts that it's only a matter of time before you attack my enemies for free.

Calliope Grieve would make a fine ruler. But not of Raktam.
