Headhunters: http://www.shartak.com/clanview.cgi?id=597

There's hasn't really been an active, straight-up headhunter group established for some time now. I'm not looking to start anything too elaborate, just getting back to my roots if anyone would like to join this focus group. The only real benefit to joining is that myself and other headhunters might not kill you so badly.

So it's join or die a horrible death.

You should make that the tagline.

It sounds like a really good idea, Bobby. And as it happens, I collect scalps with my pirate alt, so it works well. But since I'm already in one clan with you, I don't really want to join another clan with another of your alts. Just makes things more complicated is all. Good luck to you though.

You should make that the tagline.

Katie has been known to say to a town pker "Join the Misfits or die many times if you kill again in town." They joined.

Kali'na joined. In her profile it says Embroidered on the back of her dress reads
'CANNIBAL: Devouring the island one town at a time.'

Now I just have to remember to take their heads too.

I`d like to carry driftwood and make a practice of not only beheading every kill, but posting their skull on the spot. Just a casual group, really, for those that actively pursue heads.

Raan'dul brushes his hair out of his face. You can tell he is very irritated and it is best to avoid him in his current stay. After a second of staring at everyone, he erupts.

Are you kidding me? Angry Wraith, are the hollow holes where your eyes are supposed to be illiterate? Does your skeletal form have nothing better to do than to kill the same man twice in a single week, only after he has been weakened in honorable fights against others or dangerous animals, who wants nothing but to rest, enjoy the company of his woman and to hunt the salt and rum soaked pirates and slave owning Durhamites?

You are not supposed to kill a fellow Headhunter. If you had skin, you would have been given the the same symbol as one of your brothers. If you had honor, you will meet me in fair combat, not after I have been worn down from a solid days fighting, not after I have done my days work, when we are both fully rested and ready to fight.

And if you can't read this, I will find you and crush your skull with my bare hands.

You attack the tiger and miss. Pausing a moment to reflect on this, tackling the tiger with your bare hands might be considered crazy!

We are a wild and fierce breed, practicing human sacrifice, drinking blood, scalping our enemies and drinking wine from the enemies' skulls.

Ixys is down with all that so you can count him in.

Welcome to the clan then brother. First things first, to be a true Headhunter, you must receive the brand on your forearm.

OOC:Simply a thing Bobby and I started by adding something along the lines of on a forearm is the gruesome branding of a skull. Also any way anybody could get in touch with Bobby for me? I was hoping maybe to become co-founder/leader whatever its called so that maybe we could organize some sort of shin-dig or pow-wow or something.

Many would like that, but I wouldn't count on it.

He was just trying to pawn his clan on me but I didn't want it. I thought Kali'na had taken it over but maybe not. She'd just lie about it anyway. Try PMing him.

That sounds like an awesome thing to do. The driftwood would reduce your ability to carry herbs, but depending on where you're hunting it shouldn't be that hard to get. Restocking at boatyards can be annoying for road-building, but I imagine your consumption will be a *lot* slower for killing. Probably no more than 1 signpost/day on normal days.

But regardless, that sounds like a really awesome idea. You'd just see signposts in places saying "the skull of X, killed by Bobby the Hatchet (?) on [date]", or something like that. Hum, IMO you definitely should have a standard phrasing like that, so people can tell instantly that it's one of your kill signposts.
