The Bloody Legion of Black-Hearted BrigandsWe be The Bloody Legion of Black-Hearted Brigands, the cruelest, most vicious band of outlaws to ever set foot and peg on this god-forsaken island. Our unconquerable souls be roamin' the land freely and dangerously and we shall be respected and feared. We aim to take what's ours, rightfully or wrongfully, by hook or by crook, and only a dead man be tellin' us otherwise. The primary objective of The Legion be to restore some semblance of pride and discipline among pirates. The shipwreck must be tightly run by professional killers if we be to present a united front to the island. If no such professionals can be found, any and all manner of scoundrels shall suffice. We shall focus our defenses on the shipwreck and the temple and our attacks on the outsiders and natives who plague our shores with their civility and savagery. Brigands may always pillage and plunder as they see fit, but when The Legion fights as one, we shall crash down upon our enemies like a tidal wave and drown them in an ocean of their own blood. Although our Brigands be a drunken and violent lot, any class may join at their own risk. Soldiers, mercenaries, traders and healers be particularly useful, and even a cannibal savage may find work interrogatin' prisoners in the hold. We may give ye' hell for yer soft upbringin', but we look after our own. Stagger on at the nearest port and add yourself to the ship's manifest according to your trade if'n ye' think you've got what it takes to be a man among men. - Captain Lord Vesuvius Low

Well, as the Legion's Rum Runner, I be proud to announce me success in gathering the booze required to open The Hallowed Pirate Tavern on the shipwreck. I be having a grand opening in one weeks time.

There be a 50 gold tab freshly opened for fellow Brigands. I be frontin' more as I come across it. Us old sea captains just don't get paid what we used to.

Greetings!
I'm a fairly new member of the Brigands, and I'm trying to figure out a way to 1) help out, and 2) suggest what my position will be. What are the available positions?
Thanks!
Chompa.

Good to hear from you again Chompa! Welcome to the Forum! One trouble is that being a cannibal, many of the pirates who don't know you and don't take a look at your profile before killing you won't recognize you as one of us. Staying at the Shipwreck is a particularly dangerous place for a peaceful native to hang out at (as you know). Similar trouble with participating in raids, but if we do it properly we can make a list of all the pirates coming to attack, say, York, and then people involved will know to keep you in their contacts. Couple ways to help off the top of my head: 1) Ghost ship raids for pistol bullets/ghost hunting. Pistols won't be that useful for you, but any you can find would really be helpful. The ghost ship is really tough to find and stay on atm, so we're currently trying to figure out how to map it with spirits (who don't get bumped off) 2) Colonizing Unity/Rodrigo Isle, clearing out any pkers (or getting them to join up) to make a base. There aren't any resource huts on the islands, but there's fruit, and imo it's a damn sight better than all our guys staying at the shipwreck to get picked off. The western islands make good staging grounds to board the Ghost ship/heal up, and they're closer to all the other interesting places on the map (Durham, New Haven, York kinda) than the Shipwreck. Both of these are a bit sketchy atm, but raiding villages is probably the simplest and most enjoyable thing for a pirate to do. The full position list for the crew is here: http://wiki.shartak.com/index.php/The_Bloody_Legion_of_Black-Hearted_BrigandsI asked Captain Low here to put you and Aethyr down as carpenters in gratitude for helping me out with the durham detour, but feel free to grab a more exciting position than that!

Ahoy there! Although we typically whip you Rakmogaki savages into rowing when the winds let out on us, you're free to stagger about as ye' please. We'll be tryin' ter have a raid now and again, so keep an eye out for those. Right now we're just sort've scattered about, killin' here and havin' our way there. If ye' aim ter be a killer, Dalpok's always a fair village to get yer bearin's in. If'n ye' be less murderous at heart, Captain Low's runnin' a new tavern out of the shipwreck's galley and might use a hand.
As fer the crew positions, I've set that up mostly for lookin' at. Too many of us Brigands seem ter think they're an old sea captain, Captain o' this, Captain o' that, so I have ter remind meself who's who now and again. Feel free to make changes to your position as ye' see fit or let me know what ye'd like and I'll make the changes for ye'. Although, I think ye' might have ter challenge Nigel in a round of greasy, bare-knuckle boxing for a shot at bein' my Cabin Boy.
Let us know what ye' enjoy the most and we'll aim ter steer ye' thataway. We've been soberin' up lately and I think I smell the burnin' flesh of the killin' fields on the horizon myself. I hear you Collective savages have a holy holiday this month in honor of Kril'Mangar. If ye' have a hankerin' for blood, might be a good chance ter observe it.
Anyhow, welcome. Glad ter have ye' aboard.

A familiar face/name!! Carpenter is fine, now that I see where I'm listed. I'll work to continue help with it some, since I'm still wandering around with 30 something pieces of driftwood . I figured hanging around the shipwreck isn't going to the best idea for me, so I've stayed clear of it, but I keep checking the Clan News to see what we may end up doing. I'll see what I can do about ghost ship stuffs. My chances of ever finding it are small, but you never know . Thanks for having me, guys!
