So I found a page in the wiki were ten or twenty people (http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/8958/alljx2.jpg) redid a poster's avatar use it as their own.  So far, Me, Bobby and Kingbiscuit have redone Iceman's avatar.

AND SO SHOULD YOU!

SO join the cause and let's have some fun.  Dammit.

If you tell me how to do it, I would, but I don't have photoshop.

I did mine in paint.

Right click his avatar, save it to your desktop, then open PAINT, open the image, and have fun.

And what if I want to superimpose an image on top of that one? How would I do that?

I open up another paint and copy the picture you want and then paste it in the other paint program with the avatar in it. It will paste in the upper left corner so will then click on it to move it where you want to place it.

I'm afraid my limited computer skills got me nowhere. I'll keep my current look, thanks.

I can make you one if you'd like, mister Mencken. I own photoshop. And gimp is actually a free program you can use. MS paint is also great. But, if you're still having problems, let me know what you'd like and I might be able to make you something.

I did it in MSPaint as well, using the method that Ms. Calhoun describes.

MSPaint makes everything look kinda pixellated and cruddy. I like that.

I've tweaked mine. That's what happens when you eat too many Scampi Fries.
