I have been on the island since April 12, 2008  and have met some awesome people! Thank you all for the amazing experiences. I'm not leaving but I am not playing the game any longer. Why? Because of the way I have been treated on and through this forum. I don't want to leave, but I can no longer justify how the forum effects the game in such an unbalanced way.
Maybe it outgrew me, maybe I outgrew it.

I love so many people here and that will never, ever change. You are like my family and quitting this game is ripping my heart out.

"Just play the game, don't use the forum," I have heard. But the reality is that I would not know the game without this forum of people I have cared for for three years. I would feel so alone on that big, wild island paradise without coming here. Too many unforgettable memories.

Thank you it was hugely   ing awesome.

You can always PM, I am just next door.

With sincere love and respect,

You could also take the grade-school philosophy towards an approach with the forum and just ignore people and 'Walk away'.

I am walking away.      'Ignore' is a nice concept but doesn't actually work well in a group environment.

Yeah. Or if you have a real complaint, you could submit feedback according to the Terms of Use that govern this forum, instead of puttering about with the usual innuendo here and on IRC.

I did. No answer. My world does not revolve around you entirely, Mencken. Enjoy your island frolics.

Glad we ended this on a "not-so-warlike" tone.

Well, not really. You were pretty much the only person that was actually fun to fight. See you around, I s'pose.

Take care. Had a blast playing with you, despite all the forum crap. I'm sure I'll be running across you in some of the other games.

Raffles, I should be able to say 'thank you' and goodbye without name calling.  Life is good, enjoy it.

And, thanks for the kill thrill moment.
