Why is my home village not being defended? Where are the guards of the Citadel? There are entirely too many cannibals here.

This is the why: http://forum.shartak.com/index.php/topic,3238.0.htmlUnfortunately, you have the bad luck to have your village chosen for one of the Collective's feasting contests.

I am aware of the contest. I just did not expect our defense to be so feeble.

There are a few Dalpoki's who've defaulted to their cannibal alts for this one, along with the fact that Daves is idle and the government was previously in limbo.

Many of the Dalpoki have forgotten the ways of their ancestors. They grow soft, their blades and their wits dulled by their blasphemous pandering to the white devils.

Because I have not been getting any resistance I have been doing the most cheesiest things with my dinner. *Ponders at the word cheese thinking maybe taking her Mom's famous cheese spread next time might make things more interesting* See....it just keeps getting cheesier and cheesier.

Because when I'm in Dalpok and think that I want to kill pirates, I go to Durham instead of the Shipwreck.

Yarr! Ye Dalpoki deserve this. Ye kill peaceful pirates like meself, who just wish to be drunk and sell our rum to the world.

Because when I'm in Dalpok and think that I want to kill pirates, I go to Durham instead of the Shipwreck. I was having no luck at all at the shipwreck, and I was getting a frustrated and impatient. So I headed for Durham where the hunting is easier. If I was lucky in Shipwreck I could find two injured pirates next to each other to kill, but more often than not I could enter every building and search the area before I found a pirate, and by than I'd have to retreat for lack of AP. In Durham I could kill three or four pirates before anyone even reacted to me. They're soft in that town. By the time anyone came after me the second time I was ready to go back home. So, as far as my quota was concerned it worked out pretty well. As for cannibals, they don't scare me! If they hadn't eaten the town shaman I'd be back there right now fighting them. I respect there ferocity, but while I'm not indebt to a quest than I will protect my hometown just as fiercely as our enemies attack it.

Running for my life? Hardly. I welcome the smelly corpse eaters. Saves me the trouble of tracking them down. I know right where they are. Easy pickings Of course I'd rather be bashing in pirate skulls. But I can't seem to find any lately. Someone mentioned Durham. Is that where they are hiding...?
