I'd be willing to start a trading route if you need FAKS.

I (Dani) am in the middle of setting up trade route missions for newcomers to Durham. I'd be willing to set up a fungi juice/alcohol/FAK line to the Shipwreck if you can provide a contact at the Shipwreck end to meet them and provide light RP. What I really need in return is yeastweed.

Johnny, perhaps you and I can collaborate on something.

if someone wanted to find fluff on the mountain, or in the area of the mountain, hes usually harvesting fungi juice in the lower part of the caverns. all hed want in return would be empty bottles to replace his.

Yeah, that's an idea. Trouble is that you'd probably have to be on the mountain itself for it it to work. I imagine it'd be pretty frustrating for a new player to be directed to 'go find fluffhead' and then have to navigate the tunnel system.

Anyway, to keep this on-topic, I'm all for supplying PLC from Durham so long as it's mutually beneficial.

Captain Jacobi is wandering somewhere around Dalpok, but I'm not exactly sure where.

I'm always willing to work with others to establish a route (as long as I get paid for the effort!). I've been dealing in custom hut items lately, so it'll be nice to have a change in pace.

Keep it all in mind for now, as I'm still drying off. I'll need to earn enough initial gold and surplus goods to get things rolling. I'll also be approaching Giovanni Machetti and Etherdrifter for trade possibilities involving rum and silver skull crosses, so maybe between the various contacts we can establish an occasional network. Trade seems to flop around a lot, so I don't expect much and this shouldn't be a chore, but feel free to PM me anytime to set up an occasional deal once I get my together.

Edit: I've refined the initial post. Could a mod please move this to Clans?

If I'm able to find a map to the shipwreck, I'll bring over some FAK's for free. Be easier if there was a drop-off spot for actual donations (around the shipwreck) than having to meet you anywhere around there. I could just put everything in a hole and not worry about....murderous natives. I had a pirate once, and it's a rough class to play without actually traveling away from the shipwreck, so it'd be good if the FAKs be reserved for emergencies and new players.

Could you bring it to Unity? If you could bury them or simply hand them off to Fester, I could have them delivered the rest of the way.

I'd be willing to pay one gold coin for every FAK you brought up there. You could work out a secondary pay-out from Low.

Unity is the island that's due north of Durham, right? If so, yes, I could bring them over there.

OK. Whenever you're ready to go, head to Unity and bury as many as you wish (ideally up to 30) and mark your dig sites, then come back to Durham and I'll pay you.

Edit: Actually, before you go, come to Palermo first. If you have room to take them, I also need a few shovels and wooden clubs sent up there. I'll supply them to you (probably no more than five shovels and ten wooden clubs), and pay you 2 gold for each that you bring up.

I would think just giving you the coordinates would work then marking where they are buried. Anyone could go and dig them up after reading here the spots are going to be marked.

Good point, Katie. Johnny, just PM them to me when you're through. I can pay you beforehand if you risk not coming back alive for the return trip.

Also; watch out for Smudge the Cheeky Cockney Cannibal - he gets a little skittish around strangers.

And by 'skittish' I mean that he eats them.
