The sound of a scream rang out through the jungle catching Akiak’s concentration on tracking his prey. The scream came from the direction his village was. It wasn’t natural for anyone in the village to scream since everyone was peaceful. The village didn’t even have warriors just hunters. Akiak abandoned his current task to investigate the scream from his village.

The sight of fire burned through the jungle’s dense foliage like the sun had come to earth. Many of the huts were on fire and the screams continued. Akiak was in a full sprint at this point and was on his way to help put out the fires. That is when he saw the large men holding torches, whips, swords and axes. These men were taller than even the village’s tallest hunter and larger than the village’s strongest hunter. Akiak reached down to his belt for his dagger as he came through the brush into the clearing at the edge of the village.

Three men standing over a few young women turned at the roar that erupted from Akiak’s lips that would challenge even the biggest tiger in the Jungle. He continued his sprint as the men reached for their weapons. Akiak wasn’t fast enough to attack the men when one of them attacked with a whip that had a barbed metal chain on the end. Akiak’s arm was wrapped up in the metal barbs, stopping him in his tracks.

The large man used the whip to throw Akiak against the burning hut next to them. Akiak, hitting his head, is knocked out. The men return to their task without hesitation. After a few minutes Akiak awakes, but only has a little strength left. Total silence surrounds him. Only the roar of the fire can be heard. The growl of a tiger rings out in the silence as Akiak sees it emerge from the brush along the village.

Blackness engulfs the young hunter as he lays on the ground at the tiger’s mercy.

You attack the tiger and miss. Pausing a moment to reflect on this, tackling the tiger with your bare hands might be considered crazy!

I don't believe in cops, bosses, or politicians.
Some call that anarchism,
I call it having a :palm:ing heart that beats!
I do believe in freedom and never giving up.
Call my methods madness or call them luck.
I do what I got to, to feel able to breathe!
And if you quit your job well, you can do a little breathing with me.
