C Whitty gets points for putting everyone in the right direction.

Mencken, you got pretty close with your translation. Here's what the original said:

In Wiksik's Hallowed Kingdom sits,
A private item, you can search for it.
It protects from Evil, trolls wander among,
The Knights will give greetings to help them out.

Of course, it was late and I didn't have the greatest dictionary. Next time I'll try a more obscure language.

Edit- if it still doesn't make much sense it's because I had to keep substituting words because the dictionary was missing a number of standard words.

Edit2- for everyone that still doesn't get it... There's a new custom item in the KOW throne room.

As Raktam seems to be devolving into war, let it be known that refugees are welcome in Wiksik... Especially within the KOW Throne Room. The Knights of the Round Table will make every effort to protect those that come in peace, and for sanctuary.

The KOW sends our regards to Raktam, and hopes that the groups attacking Raktam will think carefully about how they proceed. Taking advantage of the current situation does not sit well with those of us who believe the scales of justice will crash down upon those whose bestial urges are overtaking their sanity. Be forewarned!

But...how do trolls figure in? Otherwise, nice work. It was actually really tough to figure it out because you used more than one elvish dialect (and added new words). Since I am actually not a tolkien fan at all, I just plugged the relevant words into Parma Penyane Quettaron. So it took awhile.

I think you'll find, however, that Raktam's sanity is reasserting itself after three years of more-or-less monarchial rule by a series of Great Pretenders. The change from the old to the new will be bloody, but the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

OOC- I think I ended up with trolls, due to not finding another word for the bad guys on the particular website dictionary I was using... Either that or subconsciously I was thinking on all the trolling that's been going on recently. But thanks, it was late and I was trying to get something out quick!

I admit I am torn over Raktam... I have reasons to fight for multiple sides, and even more reasons to stay peaceful.

IC- Your undercurrent of threats against the KOW means nothing to me. I have weathered much greater storms, and I count the battle scars as great trophies.

I must second Anthor's comments. History shows what has been thrown against KOW on countless occasions, it remains standing and will continue to for a long long time.

Mencken shrugs. He fixes himself a tasty berry wine nightcap. The threat you fear from me isn't intentional. or perhaps I've simply gotten so used to speaking in veiled threats that I stop noticing. In any case, I have my hands full with the current situation, and therefore have no time to destabilize Camelot. I must say, however, that ambivalence will only get you so far on this matter. So long as we're speaking of history, consider that in the past, Queen Zombie tended to carve up land into territories and name them after her lackeys. She had at least three provinces under her loin-cloth before she croaked last time. Do you really want to do nothing about this, and wait until she starts carving up Wiksiki land? Remember, Raktam's a long way from Dalpok, but it's only a hop, skip and a jump from Wiksik. First she'll take Raktam, then the mountain, then work her way south until she reaches the Sea.

But, I'm just an anarchist, trying to stir up trouble. I'm sure you've considered all this already and know Blue Hummingbird's decomposed heart as if it were your own.

Edit: Yes, very busy here. if only there was an honour-bound alien to aid my efforts. Alas, it seems the green-blooded tyrants will win again!

I have no connection with Blue Hummingbird, dead, undead, or inbetween. I have no connection with the Royal Court, although I have fond memories of my dear friend Sofaking. And I have no fear of anyone taking Wiksik. They can try and fail like many before.

Don't mistake this for lack of preparation though. I see what is coming. Know it will be met with what I can only describe as being reserved for those that deserve what is released from a certain box.

The Narrator: Haha! Yes, the call of battle is undeniable. I hope to come to Wiksik and stir up some trouble as well someday. I look forward to meeting you on the battlefield that is Wiksik.

Don't bother coming to Wiksik.

You Anarchists and Mercs have provoked me one time too many. The die is cast. I'm coming for you ers!

And when I'm done with you, you'll wish you'd never started your :palm:ing little war.

What war??  Once again, your inventing things to be involved in.  If it's so boring in Wiksik, go attack York or something.  Or you'll just make Wiksik a lot more exciting in a way you wont appreciated.

Technically, we didn't start the 'war' in Raktam, we just added to the chaos that was already there. I dunno what the MG's excuse was.

But do bring your merry knights and make the situation even more complicated. I think my job is done here.

I don't give a flying what you technically did or didn't do. You're right, your job is done. Now it's time for me to do mine.

OOC: Aiden dagnammit, unblock me from PMs... we need to talk.

Waitaminutewhat?

Raktam was a wholly justified two day attack. I don't feel the need to share the reasoning behind the attack with you since, frankly, it's none of your business. Just know that there was cause for a small group of us to be slightly annoyed at the Royal Court again, and a couple of civilians were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The job's over now, we're not openly hostile to anyone at the moment. You can do the whole war thing if you like, though we'll probably just ignore you again. I mean, this is the third time you've declared war on us in the last year, it's kind of hard to care at this point.
