The Royal Expedition's Second Annual Elephant Hunt

From a hut in Derby, H.M. Samuel's aide de camp; Billfred, scouted the lands around Derby and the peninsular and found there to be a bounty of elephants, and invites one and all to join in the grand hunt!
The contest starts this Sunday, the 24th October, the year of our Lord 2010 at 00:59 and ends Wednesday, the 27th October, the year of our Lord 2010 at 00:59

The hunt is island-wide, but the peninsular is quite dense this time of year, plus there's a bonus for Rhino kills on the grass-land!

Perhaps an exposition on the ruls is necessary?  Like an actual date for when it starts, not simply Sunday.

Yeah, I'm in. I'm near the shipwreck with a pitiful handful of herbs, so I'll most likely scrounge for game around the northwest.

You're not going to get very far with that, that isn't elephant territory! If you want to stay in the west, head Durham ways for rhino, otherwise your best bet is to head far east. Dalpok gets some elephants, but the natives there kill them quickly for the analgesic effects they believe are derived from mixing powdered ivory with guava milk.

Ah, thanks. I've barely spent any time at all in the northwestern quarter of the island, never really noticed their territories, although the outskirts of the mountain are always loaded with ferocious tigers.
