You WOW folk could advertise Shartak in that game some more. Shartak is less addicting, less time consuming, more mature and doesn't break up families because of unpaid rent. And you can also play both, if total conversion doesn't work out quite well Smiley

And I would have never figured this clan was from there, thanks for pointing out the reference.

I don't know about that Ahnaom... I've lost 3.5 years of my life in Shartak already. Of course it is a Hell of a lot cheaper than WoW. Which reminds me, if anyone has spare cash, please donate to Simon. It costs a lot for the bandwidth to run these games... Even the text/minimal graphics ones.

more mature

XD

Good times.  Still, it is a nice place to chill out as a lich ^_^

No paladins, no clerics.  Just unspoiled island with the need of a haunted beach.

I would like to join

Well I would gladly accept you into the group. All you have to do(until it is officially formed) is visit our Head Quarters leave your name for the records and read about our history.

OOC: Also like to point out that the red bandanna is needed in order to make it more apparent that this group is formed based of of the World of Warcraft's Defias Brotherhood. I am just curious if their leader's name happens to be Edwin Van Cleef... *giggles a little* Should be stationed near a ship wreck, though, if you ask me.

EDIT: It occurs to me that the above came off a little mean, wasn't intending that...I will enjoy seeing how this group works. I just couldn't help myself, being someone that has played (and will probably play with the new expansion) this MMORPG.

Well Caranae I have only just started out my adventure on this island so I have not been able to form a real area to be stationed. Edwin Vancleef is the former leader, his daughter Vanessa is the current leader.

They dwell in the dense areas of the Jungles of Shartak, these are areas not easily protected.

I would think not since you also signed up with the Shartak Deforestation Movement. Let me know how dwelling in the DENSE areas of the jungles work out while your trying to burn and destroy it with your other clan.

Members of the Defias Brotherhood take pride in their affiliation. They wear red bandanas over their faces to display their allegiance and to hide their identities.

I tend to grin when I see statements like this. I wonder how anyone can take pride in their affiliation and yet wear bandannas to hide their identities. Love how you settled in the West of Shartak though.  Cheesy

I know I am part of the deforestation group but I only clear cut to earn experience and make roads and pathways. The bandannas are the sign of affiliation. When you see the bandanna you know the man or woman is part of the Brotherhood. I have settled in the west because Durham is the town I landed in.

This is very true. If everyone remembers this for future reference, we'll avoid a lot of trouble.

I had thought you had picked Durham on purpose because it was located west in Shartak reminding me of WESTfall.  I guess it was a WoW inside joke that only cracked me up. Grin

Haha no I picked Durham because I myself like the color of Red Socks so York didn't sound like the place for me and I have a friend in Derby and a friend in the shipwreck so I chose to stay away from them.

Looks like the Defias Brotherhood is off to a good start, even if it isn't up yet.

The Brotherhood is officially started(but also under construction at the same time[OOC:laziness]). Join if you are a mercenary, assassin, soldier of fortune, or opportunist.
