As it sounds like many are looking for the Necromancer's Guild to move to Midway/WickSick Island... relieving our poor villages overencumbered by naughty spirits ( Tongue )... how about the following modifications to Midway/WickSick Island:

1) Add a Roaming Shaman (A fixed one in that it stays on the island, though is able to move around)
2) Add a crate or two of FAKs, Herbs, and Bottles of Rum.

This will allow for the NG, and anyone else who wants to stay there, to be able to live there... and be able to trade with the villages. It will also make Midway / WickSick Island a higher value target for wars between the natives and outsiders (or villages such as York and Derby fighting over it).

Thoughts?

Great, that way people wont have to swim all the way to the island to fight over it. Oh, I guess I really haven't been keeping up with the news. The whole battle over the island is over. And the ones who seem to profit the most are the Necromancers Guild, the people who weren't really involved? You've got a strange way of working things out, Shartak.

With evident predjudice I support that ^_^

Although I'd like to see similar things in other popular locations (such supplies in creedy as well as the wreck temple...)

I support this as well. I recently updated richardskull as to what's going on, and we're both worried about supplies at the island.

Would some sort of trading post be crossing the line?

I think special treatment crosses the line. If this is all paid for and approved, that would be cool.

Skull Island should have a roaming shaman.

What's the point of it if the necros go somewhere, and all of a sudden the island becomes a verdant paradise for them?

Make them walk for supplies, everyone else for four years had too.

Well now, not only would The NG not have to cross shark infested waters for supplies, but neither would anyone else. This benefits anyone that visits the island.

No. They don't need another hut to sit in. The Skull Throne was destroyed by a meteor simply for having custom text, so no I don't believe they should have their own island paradise with a roamer and a crate.

The Skull Throne was destroyed because it caused too much trouble for Wiksik. Tongue

Yeah, part of being an island is being hard to get to, and limited in supplies.  If you want to be near a shaman and supplies, stay in a town.

Besides, the island is big enough to plant trees for fruit, and not having a shaman makes enemies have to work hard to harass you.

I say leave it be.

However, I think Unity Island would benefit greatly from these things.  I think the island is big enough to warrant some special touches, and I don't think it would benefit any one clan or character.

Skull Island should have a roaming shaman.

Agreed.  It would make the island easier for food to visit.

The Tower should be enough for the NG. I would have thought they would be happy to have an island to use for their guild. Just think of the many role playing and island descriptions that could done. This could give the Necros and the island a great haunting flavor. Who knows what goes on in the dark of night during a waning moon while the fog rolls in over The Island.

Oh, so Unity Island deserves these things, but not Midway? Hardly fair snico.

Who in their right mind would dare attack the NG? That being said, a roaming shaman, even though enemies would be able to use'em too, we ain't scared.  Cool

The Tower is just fine, but a few crates isn't asking too much.

Yes it's fair, like I said, Unity Island is large and uncontested.  I think it may be bigger than Rakmogak.  And what does it have?  There's no tower on Unity Island (is there?  maybe I should check...)

I'm not talking a full out war against the NG, but people like Dances with Kevin Costner would have a harder time being a pain in the butt.

I don't know, Grant Beacher's Ghost has made the trip many times, with not much trouble.  Just avoid the cave entrance, too many cannibals.

On behalf of myself and Flamese, I think Midway Island should have some supplies so that he can reopen the Haliphax Inn.
