I kinda healed him up for the purpose of research........please dont hate me people, but now it is known that a Hungry has a max HP of 335 and attacks you with 20 damage. We are all ed. I don't hate you. I detest you. Utterly. With the burning passion of one million suns. I'm at [-70.428,+26.500], right on the road heading north from the west edge of the mountain and the Man-eating python (come to think of it, that's an odd descriptive term for this Python- aren't all the Pythons Man-eaters in this game?) is 2 squares north and 1 square west of me (making it at [-70.429,+26.502]). It's chomping on somebody named Leviathore now. After walking the entire distance there from Raktam, I only had enough AP to stumble three squares back south... hope it doesn't find me. O_O

I tracked him a bit last night, he went north west through the patch of wild fire so I lost his trail.
Do animals take damage when they go through fire? If so, he will be weakened.

he's presently at 426 514 down to 350hp.
Top of the trail heading due north from the mountain, near the beach.
Python nullifies my ability to move! I'm trapped in it's grip, and if I try to move I lose 2hp.

It's still in the same general area. I'm screwed. I got a single hit in on it and spent the rest of my time healing.

Python sighting at [-70.421,+26.511]
I'll keep tracking him for the next few hours, until 2AM EST then I'm off to sleep. If anybody is around post and we can tag team this python. I'm not attacking by myself, I might be stupid but I'm not crazy.

We really need to just start attacking it in bulk. Less chance of it attacking us all in one go and the others can heal one another whenever they're active. Of course, if McPythonpuncher (Prison name?) gets over here, I'm sure he can knock it out with a single right-hook.

That's what I want, because it can take out any person with normal HP in 4-5 hits.

I agree that attacking altogether would be best, the thing moves so fast it will be difficult for more than a couple of people to get to it with a reasonable amount of AP.
I'm not trying to be a downer, though, I'm just saying we need to think about how to coordinate this. In any case, here are the updated coords for his position:
[-70.423,+26.506]
I'll be going to bed soon in rl, I'll try to pick up the scent in the morning if someone else doesn't first.

I think we have the first creature on the island that is utterly impossible to kill on your own. Squids are hard but with enough herbs and good weapons you could take it one on one. This beast, however, seems to be a different story.

He ended up crawling over in my direction while I slept and he got me, so anybody hunting could probably pick him up about 5 east of the last coords I posted.
