I'm thinking I might head over and see if I can help, I'm currently in the southern part of the Wiksik grasslands so I'll probably take a couple days to get there.

BTW, does anyone know how many people this thing has killed yet? I wonder if there's another level beyond Hungry. The animal experiments Eyes of a Hawk was running seem to have indicated that Bears don't upgrade past Hungry... not seeing any mention of Alligator research. Well, I guess this is an excellent opportunity to test it, as there's no need to deliberately commit suicide to get it to kill us.

I found the hungry python by itself, but I not attacking it until I get more AP and more people...

If we go on the square together, it won't attack 1 person as much as often if there were many people there.

You attack the hungry python with a machete for 3 damage. It drops to 162 HP.
A hungry python attacks you for 20 damage.

I kinda healed him up  Roll Eyes for the purpose of research........please dont hate me people, but now it is known that a Hungry has a max HP of 335 and attacks you with 20 damage.  We are all ed.

Edit:

Experimented a bit with an alt, and I kinda feel that if you use a blowpipe he hits you back less as apposed to a sword / machete etc.......but he still killed me.

Milkchew, get your alts away from one another and stop using them both to fight the python. You're also now a hunt saboteur.

It's now a man-eating python.

Seriously Bobby I am not using them to fight the Python in a zerging way, I used one to heal your guy and fight it / die, and then decided as I had another in the area id discover what its max HP could be for the Wiki, which has been altered now.

It was by chance they was in the same area, as Chimpochento was searching the booze wreck and Strength of a Bear was actually looking for the Python.

I would not cheat.  I let him kill Chimposhento so I could send him back to Raktam and keep Strength of Bear in the Dalpok area...........I was hoping the latter could join your clan actually.  It would propel you easliy within the top five clans.....financially.

Also I believe Eyes of a Hawk may be in the surrounding areas as I was trying to hatch a Shargle egg in the cave north of the moutain, hence the massive fire on the north side of the mountain......I use to fire to quickly lower my HP so the Shargle can kill me quicker and thus level up quicker.

However I do admit in the past I have sacrificed characters to the same animal in order to discover its level limitations, but as I have said before I do this for the wiki and research.  Just trying to clear my name in that instance, but I have stated this before.

I have nothing to hide.

It's settled enough. For the sake of science, I won't entirely dog you out over some gray area. Let's heal the man-eating python real quick so we can be done with all of that research.

You guys should make up and hug ... and kiss .... with tongues.

A giant lizard is heading your way to help out if any of you are still alive. He would have arrived sooner, but he completely misunderstood the location, d'oh!

Ah. Ibn al Xuffasch is now very very close, with 30 guns, heaps of bullets, FAKs and fungi juice.

Just need to get a better sense of where this serpent is!
