Rifles loaded but only so many pythons to shoot?
Fungi not giving you the jolt it used to?
Well, come to sunny Midway Island, where the natives are dying to meet you! The Peninsula Federation is seeking to re-liberate the island from the grimy clutches of a motley crew of Raktami royal guards, Kingdom of Skullers, and various other hangers-on.
Targets galore, cool deep water for a snooze, and gold gold gold for your participation!
See Baron Surcouf or Black Jack Pershing for details.
Terms and conditions apply. Acceptance of this offer does not guarantee you will not be decapitated, eaten or both.

Typical.
The last time, the Derbites had to call upon the corrupt of York to win against intrepid Native folk. Now they call upon the filth of the Mercenaries. Can't they do anything by themselves without resorting to the dredging up from the bottom of the barrel?
OOC: Christ, when did I start sounding like Lukas?!

Coming from a Pyromaniac, I'm sure her response to everything would be "Burn! Hehehe, burn, BURN!" If working with Anthor was such an offense, then I'm sure Derby has every explanation for accepting Anthor's help in fending off cannibals in the last few months. Regardless, Anthor is showing concern for the plights of his fellow natives once more. If Wiksik can be united over something, who am I to stop fate's mysterious ways?

At least we're fighting for something! We actually plan to use this island! What are you going to do with it? IF you win this war, then you'll just be fighting over it with Raktam, since there are more of them than natives from Wiksik... Plus, you think the cannibals are going to just eat and leave? Everyone knows you can't trust a cannibal...
Anthor! If you give up on the war, I'll let you be in my play!

Can't I be in your play even if I don't give up? And yeah, I'm helping Ash and Bobby, so what of it? WickSick Island belongs to Wiksik!

You could have actually, y'know, asked us to use it? The WickSick Headhunters were a proud group of warriors made up of Wiksikis, Raktamis, and Dalpokis. They were a group that defeated the citizens of Derby in open combat as their first united act, and Derby has sought to wipe away their legacy ever since. This is not a fight for Wiksiki land, this is a fight to protect native heritage from an enemy with a chip on their shoulders. The Raktamis heed the call of honor, and of preventing the greed of an outsider group from encroaching further upon native lands in a hostile manner. If you claim sacred native ground as your domain for the sake of hosting a mere PLAY, I'd hate to see what you would do if you wanted to establish an outpost, a patrol, or even trade routes. You speak of culture, peace, and the arts, yet you let the froth of war dribble from your lying mouths. Halt your militant agenda, approach the keepers of WickSick Isle for permission, and you may keep your heads. Continue, and you will find nothing of value in exchange for the gallons of blood spilled into the sand and seas.

Big stretch and yawn. Morning everybody! I've never heard of the Wicksick Headhunters, and I don't care to find out about them, whoever they are. Let's get this thread back on topic, i.e., recruiting mercenaries. Only potential mercenaries need apply to this thread, thank you.

Not true in the least. Raktam is merely here as individuals to aid our Wiksiki comrades. The Kingdom of Raktam has no stake or part in this.

You attack Aiden Dakari and miss. Unlucky or just clumsy? The blade snaps off and you're left holding the handle, which you discard. You whisper to Aiden Dakari, “Fffffffffffffffffff-!” Solemn fuggin' books it. "His bum, it is of the steel and diamond! Beware, he craps thunder and pisses lightning!"
Trader Dick says, "Right, here's 1 piece of driftwood for 1 of your crabs"

Although I myself would love to travel to the island and fight, as a member of the NG, I've to remain neutral in this matter, even if I am in The Royal Guard. Sorry Aiden.

Hello Baron Remember me, probably not, anyhow I have returned to the Island. I would like to take part in this venture due mostly because I need gold, im near broke and since I've came back the only thing I have seen is natives and canni's trying to kill me. I would also like to become a member of the new federation since my previous affiliation is defunct. Here is my Profile: http://www.shartak.com/profile.cgi?id=7873

Deus257, our Sub-Minister of Outsider Affairs in the portfolio of Foreign Affairs from the first Ministry of the Peninsular Federation!
We would love to have you back in the second government of the Peninsula Federation, feel free to join up! Would you be interested in having your old job back as Minister of Foreign Affairs (now to both natives as well as outsiders)?

If any of you government types want to wine and dine your dignitaries that are visiting Derby I have a great back room waiting at the Hanged Misfit. I have just about any type of food or drinks you may require.
