A story of the past

I have been asked to speak of the past , four years ago when the raktemites ruled raktam.

It began with the shaman, wurzug who saw the need to bring order the viallge of raktam. At the time we where a divided people and wurzug brough us together. Along with Jabberwockee and Urmslopass we brough peace to the village and spent our times communing with the land and visiting each other. It was a good time for raktam

Then the blood traitors came, led by my nemesis Armadox.No civil words did we exchange as we fought tooth and nail, one to protect raktam, weilding the blade purity and the other, to kill, maim and despoil, his blades serenade and rhapsody off clashing from my blade.

Long did this battle go on, sometimes we would have the upper hand and drive the scavagers from Raktam, othertimes they took our homes, killed our villagers and burnt down our homes. On and on this continued until one day Armadox saw he was outmached and left, his scavangers melted into ghosts and he too became a spirit of carnage and bloodlust that i still face to this day in the spirit walks.

Again there was a short time of peace until the outsiders came on their hunts and again i was forced to spill outsider blood to the ancestors to protect our home. The Raktemites began to drift, some sough solitude in the wilderness of our land, others retired to the village, elders who told stories of the dark days of raktams past.

the royal court was formed in this time and I left the village in the hands of the young.

I can tell you more young ones, but my mind needs focusing on events and past times. Seek Nihlia in the Wurzugs hut. She can tell you of the royal court and its rulers, from the first to the current.
