Some of you will have seen the new palace in Raktam for the Royal Court, the French tricolour over Port Breton, and the Bovs club house in York.

Anyone got any ideas on a PHC HQ icon?

Here are some thoughts on location:

1. something at the Pirate's Rest?
2. something at the temple south of the wreck?
3. a new ship? sitting offshore the wreck... this would take some work I'd imagine but I'm thinking a customised ship replicating the wreck but afloat and anchored would be a good headquarters for the Pirate High Command.
4. something close to the trader's hut?

How about an underground lair near the wreck?

A backroom bar in the Trading Post would be good. Dirty sawdust on the floor, vomit in the corners, knife marks on the walls and old rum and blood stains on the furniture. Enterable through the Trading Post, or as an additional hut on the same location as per the Rakmogaki Trader.

And, of course, a pirate flag above the Trader's. Is it possible that it would only fly when a PHC member was present?

A giant rum barrel over which the sodomites take their victims?

I thought you'd had enough of splinters in your belly?

Parameters apprently are that such a customised hut can replace an existing hut.

We have a problem with that at the wreck in that we presently have only one hut, and I doubt we can lay claim to the trader's hut.

For that reason the Pirate's Rest huts might be a lot easier to deal with.

But I do like the idea of a new ship.

If you are going for a ship (doesn't make much sense to me), at least make it into a ghost ship.

Too complicated. I just want a mirror of the wreck, but at sea, and laden with gold.

How does that fit? I thought the whole point of pirates was that their ship crashed and now instead of plundering other lands they are all stuck on Shartak. Also, it would confuse newbies.

I think a new room inside the existing ship would be better.

Please don't question me and my long standing desire to build a navy of Armadan proportions.

I think I kind of did that already...
A new ship would be a bit out of place. But it's my opinion, Simon shall decide in the end.

...they are kind of little, but they are meant to fit on a square in game, and be the same size as a hut.

For that reason the Pirate's Rest huts might be a lot easier to deal with.

Meaning that you can't get a new building added to serve as an HQ?

I'm thinking a new hut or room in the Shipwreck would probably be best, but even those... certainly having two huts like that would feel sorta strange. A room in the wreck sounds most likely.

The Pirate's Rest is a couple of normal ruins near the shipwreck, correct? That does sound most likely to happen, then.
