The "Old One" achievement will be gained by anyone who was active in Shartak v1 (i.e before August 9th 2009).
Before anyone can gain it, there needs to be an image created. As we've not had an official contest for a while, we thought what better way to celebrate the addition of the latest feature than to hold a contest.
The contest: Simply download one of the templates and add your content to the centre of the image.
You can choose either the Photoshop file from
http://www.shartak.com/images/blank_achievement.psd or the transparent gif from
http://www.shartak.com/images/blank_achievement.gifOnce you have finished editing, save the result as a gif with a transparent outside area (same as the blank gif) and post a link to it here.
Judging of entries will be done by myself and Jaqs, but you can leave comments
in another thread.
Multiple entries are permitted.
The prize: If your graphic is chosen, it will be become a permanent part of the game and maybe we'll throw in a heavy sword (or other item) for the character of your choice too.
The terms and conditions: By submitting an entry, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free license to use that image forever and if you use an image that someone else created (for example from a stockphoto or clipart site) as part of your entry then you must make sure it is permitted under the original artist's licensing.
Closing date for entries will be a about 3 weeks from now - the 7th May, 2010.
The judge's decision is final.
