The unofficial clan of officialness!

Baron Robert Surcouf has been the man who has been on in his life at Shartak.  He gets yelled at for every problem, he gets sneered and targeted cause he smells, but that's not really his fault, he's French.

Which is probably another reason he gets yelled at.

But the Baron needs our appreciation and support!  When you see him in the jungle, do not attack him, give him some wine (Not water, water is poison to Frenchmen).  Give him some bullets, maybe load a couple rifles for him, a back massage, a warm bed to sleep at night, be the big spoon for him when you can.

And try to talk to him like someone from France to make him feel like home.

Be a friend, for a friend....in need.

I fully endorse and resemble these sentiments. But I have to say that this forum has given so much to me already. When I first came here I could barely speak English at all. Now look at me! Now I speak as well as any CBC newscaster!

The good Baron has always been a good source of what to emulate when it comes to RP or how things should be done on this board.  To me, it was always amusing to read his outrageous accents and exploits.

Good on ya', Froggie.

Much love for the Baron! He made being French cool again, represent.

“I’m an Indian tonight, baby,” he announced. “C’mon, let’s let ’em have it.” Then he dumped a pickle jar of change on the floor, told her to get a machete, and went out to the garage.

One time the Baron and I shared a drink in the corner of the mountain and watched the sun rise.

It was a magical moment.

I have heard nothing but good things about this splendid gentleman from overseas. Shartak just would not be the same without him.

I'm pretty sure afterwards he gave you a good rubdown.

Black Jack Pershing regards his French boss with much respect.

And Prince-President Hercule Le Tof, founder of Federation l'Est, had nothing but good things to say about the Baron before Le Tof's untimely death involving a riding crop, a barrel of honey, a gramophone, and a voluptuous cannibal girl.

Quote from: Baron
This is a grave insult. We demand that New Haven officially apologize to Minister Pershing, bake him an apple pie with sacred space apples and pay him restitution of 100 gc, or we shall march to the relieve of York immediately.

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, New Haven doesn't even have its own peninsula, you have to share one with Durham. I don't even want to get into how half-mannish that is.

This is why I love the Baron.
