I must correct you on one thing:  Flex Mentallo, the King of the Beach himself, does not claim the meteor as his doing.

Flex Mentallo
You say “And so I took the Skull Throne, and declared that the era of the Kingdom of the Beach was at hand!”
You say “The gods saw this, and were astounded! "What musculature," they murmured! "What deltoids," they declared! "What bountiful flexings this Flex Mentallo performs in our honor!""”
You say “They saw me and yea, they threw down the very heavens!”

You say “And so the gods themselves granted me through the Powers of Muscle Mystery to explode the Skull Throne with a meteor from the heavens and gift Wiksik with this splendid bubbling pool instead.”

Ahnaom
A matter of interpretation, I would say.

Well I have yet to hear him say he called the meteor, but he does openly say he claimed the actual throne and the spot it once was.  Ether, however, has openly claimed the meteor.

I must correct you on one thing:  Flex Mentallo, the King of the Beach himself, does not claim the meteor as his doing.  Only claims the hot tub as his throne (or at least it would seem his throne).  Etherdrifter, leader of Wiksik's Necromancers Guild claims the meteor as his doing.

Used his powers of Mysterious Muscle Mastery to summon a meteor to Wiksik, creating a bubbling hot tub pool for the enjoyment of all peoples.

Anyway, a minor note, I have tested the water of the pool and it is clearly fresh water, and could have been reasonably expected. I find it rather odd that the water was immediately identified as fresh when gathering it, but it's probably just that I haven't been doing many tests of this type, rather than a particular trait of the water in the pool.

So yeah, Wiksik now has an incredibly convenient source of fresh water. Not too notable, but might be useful for agriculture in the village.(assuming that pouring fresh water helps plants grow, I don't recall ever specifically hearing to that effect but it sounds like a reasonable assumption)

Well then.  We have 2 claiming the same act. Either way, same result.

Who are you gonna believe? A skeleton-y dude with no lips or Flex Mentallo's biceps?

Etherdrifter doesn't even HAVE any muscles.

“I’m an Indian tonight, baby,” he announced. “C’mon, let’s let ’em have it.” Then he dumped a pickle jar of change on the floor, told her to get a machete, and went out to the garage.

Etherdrifter doesn't even HAVE any muscles.

He does have the powers of a legion of the undead at his command.  But yep, he's terminally skinny.

If that's the case, no wonder he has a legion of bones at his back.

Give us some clues, it's not obvious she is a quest in itself.
Ahnaom tried to stop her becoming a phoenix, nothing worked. You know I really tried  Smiley

Dappled Shadow became a character known as the dancing phoenix.

There was nothing else to it.
